You're the one who doesn't "get it"... you never have, and apparently, you never will...

This defense you're ripping on was 9th in total defense last year, at 307.6 yards per game... they were 6th in yards per play allowed, at 4.9...

And thus far in preseason, the defense has allowed 295.3 yards per game in their first 3 games, 4.8 yards per play... that would have ranked them 6th in the league in total defense last year, tied for 4th best in yards per play...

What you CLEARLY don't understand is that the NFL is an offensive league, with rules set up to favor the offense... you seem to think the Boys ought to be holding teams to 250 yards a game, and that's a completely unrealistic expectation... if you hold your opponents under 300 yards a game these days, you're one of the better defenses around...

Note also that the Boys have been playing without two of their better defensive players, Terence Newman and Anthony Spencer... the problem in preseason has not been the defense, it has been turnovers and special teams letting opponents have good field position...

And the problem is not that we're homers, it's that you don't understand the game of football as it's played in the NFL... the "joke" is YOU, and it's getting stale... you're a regular One Trick Pony, you are...

To be DC of one of the better teams in the NFL? who is this guy?while the eagles have a great DC like Jim Johnson. and the Giants have Spaggs. we have freaking Byran Stewart.this guy had never been a DC in the NFL before he came here. it's time for someone to speak up on this. this playing 10 yards off the recievers has gotten very old. we did the same crap last year. and for those who will say it's Wade phillips who really controls this defense. if thats the case.Wade stinks as a DC too. i thought people here were saying we would have a dominant defense. i have not seen it yet. yea i know. it's just preseason.this teams defense and special teams better get better fast.

We put to many Eggs in the Terry Glenn basket this offseason, and it has backfired.i for one wanted draft a reciever in the first two rounds of the draft. and i wanted to bring in a vet reciever. now we are here counting on people like Crayton,Austin and Hurd again.. what teams are going to do is do what they did to us the last 4 games of last season and the playoffs.they are going to take away Terrell Owens, and tell players like Crayton,Austin and hurd to beat them if they can.we are in trouble at WR folks. i for one thought Glenn was a washed up player... so im not mad about the Cowboys cutting him. butother than owens.how good are these guys? and can you win a championship with these set of recievers?

your oline cant run block at all,you got HH back to coach the line..but he has to show he can get these guys to play better in the run,so there is a ? mark there.2)you offense is to predicated on romo zigging and zagging and avoiding the pass rush to give your WR time to get open,point being romo makes your online look much better than it really is in pass protection!!3)now the defense,the only guy on this unit i would take is ware,he is legit..your tackles dont collaspe the pocket enough and your secondary with roy still in there can be exposed..you have upgraded your db's but it has to be proven that it will work,still yet another ? mark..4)last but not least,no matter how you play in regular season that pressure of winning a playoff game grows more and more each time you win a game during the season!! thats my take on why this team is way overrated!! any comments?
