Can someone tell me what Alfred Morris has done to be our starting HB?

If McFadden put up the same stat line has after two weeks you'd be whining away incessantly including his low YPC into every post you could.

I expect Zeke to start I also expect to see him held accountable and sent to the bench when he is making mistakes. Morris in my view is a solid and dependable player who has produced big in the past. I'm not down on Zeke and expect a lot from him

As a rookie tailback in the NFL you simply cannot turn the ball over twice in one half and not expect consequences. Morris should start next week and rotate EE back in.

As I stated earlier in this thread Morris scored the go-ahead TD yesterday and he did average 5.0 a carry in the opener. I'm not saying he should be the starter, just pointing out that he has done something this season despite only receiving 12 carries. Let's not put it all on the backs the OL may not be as great a run blocking unit that it was touted to be after Murray's great season in 2014. After the first 2 games last season McFadden and Randel were averaging under 4.0 a carry.

I don't believe that. Zeke was benched for the rest of the game. Morris came in and we couldn't move the ball, it's crazy to want Morris to start over Zeke. Morris isn't better.

Zeke should start next week and rotate Morris in. I do believe Morris should get more carries. 5 carries isn't enough for him, 10-12 for Morris. Zeke 17-20

Eric Dickerson in 1984 fumbled the ball 1 out of every 27 carries. On every drive he had a 25 precent chance of fumbling.

Zeke has never had a problem with fumbling. He is a rookie and made mistakes. Nobody is perfect and it's not an issue unless he continues to do it. He played against Seattle with huge hits and didn't fumble, played all last week against the Giants and didn't come close to fumbling.

He already has a proven track record in the nfl and was productive throughout camp. What has Elliott proven? 4th overall pick and a productive college career?

Look its clear Elliott is talented, but he should have started the season coming off the bench and splitting the load with Morris. Playing time should be earned. I dont think Elliott should be benched as he has shown flashes, but playing time should be split more until Zeke shows he can seperate himself. I could understand if there was no other talented backs on the roster, but thats certainly not the case.

He scored on a short run, the rest of his carries were against a stacked front to end the game. This is not fantasy football, you lose games turning the ball over.
