Why not next yr?
does dallas really need to draft a cb, and a wr? Or trade both 1st round picks for a guy like Fitzgerald?
Or trade one of its first, and a defensive starter to the Lions for Roy Williams? I love Ellis, but wouldnt he make a trade with the Lions a go?
Why draft a CB when what this team needs i verterans, not more rookie mistakes.

Wouldnt these guys fit good in Dallas? All young and established.
I know this is a whatif scenario, but wouldnt dallas be btter served playing a 4-3? Dallas is very small in the middle. James is a very good 3-4 LB but akin? Ratliff is a very good player, but why beat him up every yr and eat away his career, when dallas can very well have a great DT rotation with ratliff, tank and canty. Even add spears. Play Ware where he belongs, rushing the QB 100% of the time with his hand on the ground.
Im sick and tired of Dallas bng wore down by the end of the yr in the middle of the defense.
Like the Pats did this yr, at some point in time the Cowboys are going to have to realise that what they have going now isnt working. Before this yr the pats were a team that would build from within. But seems they were coming up just short as of late. So what do they do? Go and sign superstars in FA and via Trade. Sure you can talk about the stats hen it comes to the Cowboys(as i do), and they're impressive. But when the end of the yr comes,it seems every yr this team is beaten up pretty good. Every yr it seems dallas gets its fair share of injures twards the end of the yr.
At this point in time, i wouldnt mind seeing garrett gone. The coach ho seemed to be showing the most emotion was Sporano lastnight. He looks like a guy who has fire in him.
Getting back to the Point of the thread. Whats stoping the cowboys from going out and getting 2 superstars to take this team over the top?
