Cowboys team handle the pressure. See if they want it.

Or, will the Cowboys go up there and give it to them? The Cowboys need to represent the NFCe, the division is theirs to win. They might lose. The Cowboys have a job to do to represnet what they call the weakeast division.

The prssure is on the Cowboys. If they come home with a win, or if they come home with their tails betwen their legs with piss all all down their legs.

Or blood on their face.

The way things are looking the NFC North may end up being the NFC Least by season's end. We will find out how that will go tomorrow nite.

Overwhelmed as one would be, placed in my position.
Such a heavy burden now to be the One.
Born to bear and bring to all the details of our ending.
To write it down for all the world to see,
But I forgot my pen.
**** the bed again ...Typical

Dallas will make a statement tomorrow... One way or another.

Im feeling confident though.

I think we do our usual face-plant in the beginning of the game and spot the Bears 14 points.

Romo does his 3 and out offense on the first 4 possessions we have and help the Bears get their confidence going.

Then Romo finds a way to get the team back in the game and...

..who knows.

I think they can do it, we have a group of young fire eaters and a group of wiley vets that are seeing their light start to dim a lil bit. One will carry the other tomorrow but they get it done.

These next 4 games come down to being very physical on both lines of scrimmage.

I just think on defense we lack the talent and health.

That's going to be exploited by the better QBs we are going to have to beat.

Enter the Chicago Bears.

this team has typically wilted in the face of pressure

lets see if that can change this december and january

I am not worried about Romo. I am worried about the rest of the team. They seem to stand around way too much and wait for Romo to make a play. How well has that worked out for us?

Truth, burm.

Romo is literally the least of my worries with this team.

ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!

it's here. Nice cold night. Hoping Dez and Tony can do some snowmen in the Bears endzone.

X X make snowmen X X 27-24 Cowboys

I'm more worried about the fact that this defense won't be able to handle three of the four remaining offenses than I am about the pressure of those games.

I don't know if they'll win or not. My guess is Dallas wins 24-23.

But all of this talk about stepping up, or "willing the team to victory", or "handling the pressure" is just a re-run of quotes before an even more important cold weather road game that occurred just two games ago.
And the Cowboys did beat the Giants in that one.

The dreamer in me sez they will take it to da Bears and win 24-10. The realist in me, however, chooses not to listen to the dreamer. :D Dallas loses a heart breaker on the road 20-17.

Disclaimer: The dreamer grows stronger as game time approaches so I'll make my final prediction later. :D

I'm looking at the list of things that will determine whether we win this game. Right at the top are things like "talent", "matchups" and "game plan". "Weather" is a bit below that. Further down the list are things like "bad calls by the refs", "fumble recovery luck" and "direction of tipped passes". Even further down, we find things like "gusts of wind" and "length of spikes selected". Way way down, near the bottom of page 4, we find "who 'wants' it more" and "who handles the 'pressure' better".

I don't know if it will happen but this is the time to put everything together and get on a roll. We need to get hot and start playing with an attitude.

Yep. Though, I will say, on Thanksgiving day, it was refreshing to watch some of the other players on the team perk up a bit and to see the playmakers start making plays. I'm talking about Witten juking two defenders to get an unexpected third-down conversion in the second half. The plays to Dez (well, Dez always makes big plays, but he was doing it again). Then the running backs perked up with the big Dunbar screen and that outlet pass to Murray deep on our end of the field. It was sort of weird, watching Tony not have to carry the entire load himself for a change. Hopefully, they can keep it going against some better teams.
