I am not worried about Romo. I am worried about the rest of the team. They seem to stand around way too much and wait for Romo to make a play. How well has that worked out for us?
Yep. Though, I will say, on Thanksgiving day, it was refreshing to watch some of the other players on the team perk up a bit and to see the playmakers start making plays. I'm talking about Witten juking two defenders to get an unexpected third-down conversion in the second half. The plays to Dez (well, Dez always makes big plays, but he was doing it again). Then the running backs perked up with the big Dunbar screen and that outlet pass to Murray deep on our end of the field. It was sort of weird, watching Tony not have to carry the entire load himself for a change. Hopefully, they can keep it going against some better teams.
The Bears are awful, just terrible, against the run. In their last six games, the FEWEST rushing yards they've allowed is 145, and they allowed over 240 each of the last two weeks. If we ignore that and put this game entirely on Romo's shoulders, we deserve whatever happens to us. (And that's a combination of the play-calling and Tony's audible/play-changing decisions).

Extra stat tidbit: the Bears are also awful at defending against TEs, according to FO's stats. Oddly, they're the best in the league on pass defense against RBs.

Another thing to think about: the Bears have given up a long rushing TD to a WR in each of their last two games. I don't know that we have the likes of Cordarelle Patterson or Tavon Austin to really take advantage of that, but there it is.
