Dallas stole him.

Heck some niner fans want him back.

You keep him and develop.
Yup, the 9er fans are jumping off the Purdy bandwagon right now. Some are pretty upset about them trading Lance.

There had been some talk that MIN was willing to part with Jordan Hicks (LB) who is in his contract's last season.

If it gives us both some current benefit helping fill a void created by injury and still allows us a 2nd rounder... I'm in. Problem is that MIN has already dealt their 2024 3rd and 5th... they might be especially reluctant to sacrifice a 2024 pick... would probably have to get creative, flipping something in their direction to help compensate.

We need to keep him around if for nothing else to keep hope in a few posters here

He may amount to nothing but it’s pure gold seeing the we want Lance chants

In fact we may get some next week who knows

I would offer Lance and some draft capital for either Ezra Cleveland or Jordan Hicks.

Since both are UFAs anyhow, that's probably an overpay under the circumstances, and given the inherent meaning that if they swung the deal, MIN would legitimately have decided they want to give Lance a full audition.

Glad you brought up Ezra Cleveland, though... that's another worthwhile option, imo.

Of course, in this era, there are never any NFL mega trades, but the elements are there for one if the two sides wanted to get creative.
