Can Vanderjagt and T.O. co-exist?

This could be the downfall of Dallas. Seems like a bad idea to put T.O.'s huge ego along side that of the "drunk, idiot kicker" attitude. If this happens, then I know for sure what I have always suspected, that Parcells really is just a Giant trying to undermine the Cowboys.

Don't you find it strange that it is always can so and so survive with TO

Absolutely, it is just a drunk kicker.

Better question: are they some respectable places in Dallas for Vandy to find a drink and stay out of trouble since the Cowboys White House is shut down indifinitely?
:lmao2:

If we sign Owens, it is highly doubtful we sign Vanderjagt.

And if a WR and PK have much to say to each other, something is wrong.

I dont see how the 2 are linked, am I missing something.

Time out. Someone please fill me in here. Other than the one time about 6 years ago when Mike Vanderjagt called out Peyton Manning and Tony Dungy for another no show playoff performance by the Colts and Manning responded "our idiot kicker got liquored up and shot his mouth off" what exactly is the basis of the charges than Vanderjagt is a drunk or unstable or hard to get along with? Or is that one incident grown to Paul Bunyan proportions?

And what exactly does signing a kicker have to do with Terrell Owens?

I'm thinking he's having fun with all the can TO and player x co exist :D

I think the rea. question is,, when Vandy gets beat up by LA,, will he even feel it??

I agree. What constitutes a drunk? I am going to have plenty of cold beers today watching the NCAA tourney, but don't NECESSARILY consider myself a drunk. This is so out of proportion. When in the history of football has a kicker been disruptive and messed up team chemistry? He trots out there a couple times a game and kicks. He isn't a quarterback, receiver, linebacker. He is a freakin' kicker. They don't even talk to their own teamates on the sideline. How could a kicker be a problem unless he is, in fact, a drunk, and instead of Gatorade he is dialing up some Quervo on the sidelines?

Several levels.

Money. And I doubt we want to add another volatile ego.

I am not concerned they cannot co-exist, because I don't think we are daring enough to add a kicker with an ego. It just does not seem Coach Parcells' style.

The whole druken Vanderjagt thing is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay over blown. He is a good kicker, and a competitior, he wants to win.

I fail to see the problem.

I would not put too much into anything a kicker may say.

Winning cures all. So as long as we win, there won't be any problems.

Your right. It is easy to be a team guy when everything is going good, problem is when you do hit the bump in the road you find the true character of a person and over the years TO has shown himself very clear during the rough times.

If Terrell does his thing, it dont matter whos on the team. No one can control Terrell. No one can dictate to Terrell.

You get what you see with Terrell.

You have just brought a lit stick of dynamite into the boys lockerroom. WHEN it goes boom, Allen, Williams, Parcells or Jones can and will do nothing to him.

All these can 'this guy' tame Terrell post is stupid.

You wanted him, you got him, for better or worse. Stop asking stupid questions.

If the boys fall, its solely Terrells fault, regardless of whos on the team.

Remember, Philly, San Fran and Dallas all won superbowls without the mighty Terrell, No ones won one with him. Coincidence. I think so.
