Can Ware Get 25 Sacks?

There's simply no way to predict with sacks. They come in bunches. Great passrushers may get no sack for weeks then get 5 or more in a couple of games.

Ware could play great and not get a sack for a month. Or be off his game and still get sacks.

I read somewhere today that four of the next six opponents are amongst the worst in the league at sacks allowed (all in the top six, as I recall). In fact, Seattle is dead last. I think he ends up with at least 25.

There is a VERY good chance Ware breaks the record. Look at the remaining schedule:

Seattle: ranked 32 of 32 in the league in sacks given up (28)
Buffalo: ranked 2 of 32 in the league in sacks given up (9)
Washington: ranked 25 of 32 in the league in sacks given up (22)
Miami: ranked 31 of 32 in the league in sacks given up (27)
Arizona: ranked 28 of 32 in the league in sacks given up (24)
NY Giants: ranked 13 of 32 in the league in sacks given up (15)
Tampa Bay: ranked 5 of 32 in the league in sacks given up (10)
Philadelphia: ranked 7 of 32 in the league in sacks given up (13) <- Had 4 sacks against them
NY Giants: ranked 13 of 32 in the league in sacks given up (15)

I'm sure Ware can find 11 sacks in their somewhere.

Wow! Look at that schedule. You believe some moron in another thread actually predicts us to only win two more games?

Or one of the morons who predicted we'd roll Philly. And smash the Patriots. The board was full of these predictions over the last few weeks. Or better yet the usual suspects gloating that Sean Lee was staying healthy....

:laugh2: So the Cowboys play some poor and mediocre teams next several weeks....has it occured to you that their fans are looking at the Cowboys the same way you're looking at those teams?

:banghead: The Cowboys aren't like Miami or Seattle, they're actually talented but inconsistent. Yeah, other teams look at Dallas as an easy win where Dallas can play their best game, and the opponent can still win with a subpar effort, such as Miami vs NYG last week.

I guess it depends on what fans you're talking about. I'm sure there are other teams on the seahawks schedule they are more likley to beat. And I'm sure their knowledgable fans realize this.

Care to show me the team we've lost to as poor as Seattle, Miami or Arizona? Doesn't mean we can't lose to any or all of them.

You want to go negative on this team, fine. They've earned it.

I can make the arguement for 8 wins. I think they do better, but I can play devil's advocate and make a legit case for 8 wins. But only an ******* would predict 2 wins for this team over the final 9.

Jim Jeffcoat had five sacks in a game against the Commanders in 1985.

Week 10, 1985. We completed the season sweep on the Commanders. This was also Joe Theismann's last complete game before Lawrence Taylor broke Theismann's leg.
