That doesn't fit the narrative. Dak sucks and it's been really, really hard getting over Romo.

It really is pathetic. I finally got over 10 years of dumb fans telling me that Romo wasnt Tom Brady. That he was a choker, had a weak arm, and couldnt win the big game. Now I'm going to have to deal with it all over again with Dak for 10 years? LOL

I have no problem whatsoever cutting up players and coaches that suck. I do it more than anyone. But I will never understand guys cutting up players we are lucky to have. How we found both Romo and Dak are miracles that we hit the jackpot. And to think Romo rotted on the bench for 4 years. He could have been even better.

Jury is out on Dak at this point but we know more about Dak at this point than we did Romo at the same point. We got glimpses of him in preseason but more people knew about his golf prowess than his QBing. And Parcells went after Bledsoe for a reason.

My concern with Dak is that I've seen this before. It was what D's like Bama, Auburn and LSU did to him and how they played him. That is what the Giants DC used in his first game.

The tease is at times Dak looks like the real deal but then that inconsistency will rear it's head and he's way off target. At this point, he's like Keenum and Winston. He can make a wow throw and follow that up with a ono throw.

If you want to debate then say something intelligent or insightful. Are you claiming you have absolutely no idea the changes that happened immediately after the 8th game of the season when the problems for the offense miraculously began?
Well I tried, see ya.

I hear ya. I pointed out everything I found that Romo did, being critical and because I supported him against the idiots blabbering about Cabo, smiling on the sideline and wearing a hat backward referred to me as a Romo lover. Comical. The criticism is ignored unless you say he sucks. Same with Dak. We are lucky. I keep the eras after Aikman to Romo in the back of my head. Now THAT was garbage football.

Yes Miked Up, everyone was killing Dez back then but when the video came out they had to shut their ***** up. Lol

Why would they have to shut up? Dez was not being positive. Dez was frustrated he didn't get the ball. He slammed his helmet down and was clearly upset. Then they started communicating on what they wanted Dez to do on that route. This occurred when Dallas had the lead. My opinion on why it occurred is because he was flapping his gums earlier in the week comparing himself to Megatron, who was having a career day while Dez was not. Dez was being selfish, not positive. There is the video of the incident.

I was just looking at wide outs stats for the 2017 season, when I say wide outs I'm not including slot wrs.

7. T.O. said it, Bryce Butler said it, Dez said it, this offense does not put it's player in a position to succeed. Look at the Patriots and Eagles last weekend. Pick pays pick plays pick plays, crossing routes their schemes won those games our scheme looses games.

I think a lot of people are overlooking probably the biggest reason the Eagles won last weekend--their o-line and d-line beat the hell out of the Vikings's lines. They beat up Atlanta's lines too. Holding two high-powered offenses to a total of 17 points and not letting your own QB get pressured helps a lot.

Naw, I just reattached it and what I saw was:
Dez being passionate about wanting the ball and making a play.
He thought he was open but Romo and the coach explained that he didn't see the safety.
Dez listened and got it.

It was time to move on this offseason and we just put ourselves a year behind schedule because of his contract.

He's got the locker room questioning him, the fan base is questioning him, and i'm sure behind closed doors the Jones's are questioning him.
That is the saddest part. We have seen no inclination that he has learned from his failures & will actually change his philosophy. We can only hope that the FO has a short leash in 2018 & if necessary believes someone on the staff could step up. The career waster continues ....

I was just looking at wide outs stats for the 2017 season, when I say wide outs I'm not including slot wrs.

1. Jarvis Landry 112 987 SLOT
2. Fitz 109 1156 SLOT
3. Michael Thomas 104 1245 wide out Drew Brees
4. Keenan Allen 102 1393 wide out Phillip Rivers
5. Antonio Brown 101 1533 wide out Big Ben
6. DeAndre Hop 96 1378 wide out Bad QBing after Watson, outstanding stats
7. Golden Tate 92 1003 SLOT
8. Theilen 91 1276 wide out Case Keenum great year
9. Julio 88 1444 wide out Matt Ryan

11. D. Thomas 83 949 wide out Bad QBing lots of catches no yardage
16. D. Baldwin 75 991 SLOT
16. AJ Green 75 1078 wide out Better than Dez mediocre to poor QBing
16. Tyreek Hill 75 1183 SLOT

23. Mike Evans 71 1001 wide out Bad QBing, better than Dez, better than stats
24. Dez Bryant 69 838 wide out Bad QBing, from inexperienced qb.

FACTS:

1. Dez had a bad year with the drops
2. Dak is not comfortabe throwing to his outside receivers yet.
3. Dez still demands double coverage or safety help, contrary to what some say on this site.
4. Dez had 1 fumble last year. (contrary to the "always fumbling crowd").
5. Dak had trouble reading defenses last year. i.e. wr settling in a zone while he's throwing it like wr is in man .

OPINION:

4. The top wide outs on this list all have good to great qb play, with exception of Hopkins (bad), AJ, and Evans (mediocre) whom everyone agrees are better than Dez but their QB play is also better or at least equal to Dak.
5. If the QB play is going to be like it was this year then we can't pay Dez 16mil because he's not going to be worth it. Does that say more about Dez or Dak though?
6. The coaching staff is the biggest culprit in all this because they didn't have a plan B for Dak, they just came back and tried to do what they did last year and when defenses took away what he likes to do, JG and staff had no answers.
7. T.O. said it, Bryce Butler said it, Dez said it, this offense does not put it's player in a position to succeed. Look at the Patriots and Eagles last weekend. Pick pays pick plays pick plays, crossing routes their schemes won those games our scheme looses games.

NEXT SEASON:

We need new a scheme or new plays, pick routes, rub routes, crossing routes and attempt to attack deep.

Dez needs to be focused (if he's still here).

Dak doesn't need to go back to his rookie year form, he needs to be better. That rookie year is gone, he's not going to sneak up on anyone, he's going to have to put on his big boy pants and throw into NFL windows.

I'll give you three guesses what my opinion is of this and the first two guesses don't count.

Ok well you guys can dance around in limbo. I saw Romo and I knew and I saw Dak and I knew. Both are completely different QB's.

Keep in mind that this is a ROMO skill based offense and is NOT suited to the particular skills or Dak. He is also dealing with Garrett the moron that doesnt understand that. My personal opinion is that Dak is better suited to a more west coast style of passing game.

THIS IS NOT the best type of offense for his skills.

Yep, and these same guys are crying their eyes out that we dont have Romo anymore. Romo was one of the best QB's we ever had. The poor guy was saddles with a horrid GM, a horrid head coach and coordinator and then he had to win every game by himself.

The ONE season he finally had a run game with Murray he went 13-3 and only threw 9 picks. The idiot Garrett let Murray go and thought that some criminal could replace him in the backfield. LOL

What was the name of that loser?

Many of those players are NOT slot-only WRs.

Include the players you have listed as Slot for a true evaluation.

Dak threw into more tighter windows than anyone in football the last two years.

No idea what this post is about.

Here's another to add to the "facts" category........Dez doesn't consistently give a 100%.
Truth. If he is not the first read or is run blocking, he doesn't give a crap. Getting tired of him tipping defenses with his crap effort if he is not the focal point of the play.
