We will beat Houston. It may not be pretty, but we will take it. My fear is that Bledsoe will play better, good enough to hang onto the job for the next week. Then, he will choke again in a meningful game on the road, like the Panthers. Then we will be back here again.

Well there's your problem. You got cocky because of wins over the Skins and Titans.

your right...cuz i got caught in the hype that...the Jax game was a fluke....n we actually did give that game away

We should beat Houston easily. But we're still a borderline wildcard team and won't last long if we do make the playoffs. Playing a good team on the road is more than Drew can handle.

No way do we lose next week this was a tough loss but by no means does that mean we are done...We are still a good team, problem is we have a no pocket presence QB and an O-Line that hates blocking in big games.

This team can only go so far with our QB and OL. But we've known that for several years and refuse to address it. The blame has to go to Bill for not even trying to do anything about it.

With BP's attemps at not losing, wimpy defensive strategy, horrible o-line, and a braindead QB, will we lose next week? Will we get outcoached again?:bang2:

We coundn't take advantage of TO on the rookie from Texas Tech. wow.
I know what we should do. Let's have a prediction thread like 3 days ago when about 50% of posters were predicting that the Cowboys had a greater than 60% chance of beating the Eagles today.

Let's do that. I bet that the inverse will be true -- the same posters who were convinced that we would take the Eagles will be convinced that we will lose to the Texans.

We'll beat the Texans and it may not be close.

I don't think we should be cocky for any game.

Again, it bears mentioning that we went to Philly for a big game in 92. We were absolutely drilled....we played scared that game.

But we came back ok......

I'm serious, Texans can be tough. Are they the best NFL team in Texas?

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? GAWD, some of you people need to need a chill pill, or just quit watching football altogether. I am proud of the way MY team played today... did they make mistakes, yes, did they leave some points on the field, yes, did they play their hearts out to win, yes. This is a good team. and nothing is more sickening than fans that want to gripe about a team after a loss. This team went into a very hostile place, had every reason to lay down in the first quarter after going down by 10, but they didn't, they fought back, they played hard and even for making a lot of mental mistakes, still had a chance to win at the end.

some of you just need to get over yourself and realize that this team, or any other team, any other coach, is not perfect, will make mistakes and will LOSE a game they should win every now and then.

GEEZ people lighten the .... up.

I think many here are forgetting Dallas has never beaten the Houston Texans, if I'm not mistaken. They get extra geared up because they feel like the red-headed stepchild of Texas football.

Parcells has tried plenty of things. He tried to develop Quincy Carter. He gave Henson plenty of off-season work. Parcells has worked with Romo but didn't start him before Parcells thought he was ready. And Parcells has brought in veteran QBs - Testaverde was brought in to serve as Carter's mentor. Bledsoe was brought in as a stopgap to play before Henson/Romo were ready.

Parcells has made lots of moves on the OL through the years and the current OL is better than any in the previous 4 years. It isn't consistently good yet, but at least it is better than the consistently bad OL that Parcells inherited.

The pace of progress hasn't been as rapid as I'd have liked, but progress is being made.

We will win next week!

I'm just saying that I think many here are underestimating the Texans just like we underestimated the Eagles. We had trouble running routes. JJ ran the wrong direction on a play, Safeties makeing poor reads, Witten running the wrong route with the game on the line. Poor coaching, poor everything. McBriar should have taken a safety. So many mental errors. That's the frustrating part, a talented team making boneheaded plays that will have long lasting effects on the standings.

I mostly agree -- we did make a lot of mistakes. I really think this is a learning experience with some serious hidden positives, believe it or not. We took it on the chin in arguably the least hospitable (at least to us, today) stadium in the league and hung in there. Despite all of our mistakes, we had a first and goal to tie the game with 40 seconds left. This team has some moxie in it.

Houston couldn't have chosen a worse week to come to Dallas. They very well may be as fired up as they get all year and they aren't going to roll over and play dead but I have a feeling that we saw a Cowboys team that in a loss was learning how to win. BP will be pissed; the players will be pissed; everyone will be focused during the week; the players will be motivated; and we will be back in Texas Stadium for just the second time this season.
