Can we Finish

Who are the finishers on this team ??? Not our coach with his suspect clock management, surely not our inconsistent kicker . These are 2 things good teams depend on for a playoff run .

How about our QB?? He used to be a finisher but now since he got Paid and Injured he seems to refuse to use his legs to move the chains anymore when we are struggling . DCs around the league have scratched Dak running off their list of things to plan for when facing us and it hurts us that Dak will not run once in a while and keep defenses honest . At this stage in his career he should know when he can run and protect himself . Its a dimension of our offense that is nonexistent now .
Our RBs Pollard is a finisher !!! But now both are a bit banged up
O Line seems to all depend on Tyrons health and that is suspect at best so no we cant hang our hat on them . Plus drive-killing penalties
WR some frustrating drops at times but they border on being able to finish.

How about our defense Parsons is definitely a FINISHER and a true throwback type player that I think we can all appreciate . Diggs another finisher But The Defense as a whole gets totally gashed on a consistent basis by bad teams as well as good and is only saved by the TOs that Diggs and Parsons create . Veteran QBs that dont make mistakes will kill this defense

We have the ultimate opportunity to FINISH off our division with the remaining games against division teams except for Cards and go into the playoffs strong . We come into this weeks game as healthy and rested as anyone could want at this point in the season with guys returning on the Dline . If Dak continues to make business decisions and lets us go 3 and out we will lose to the Football team and be lucky to even make the playoffs . Thoughts??

There is nothing wrong with our coach, we're lucky that he's willing to put up with Jerry.

Sheesh Coogs have not talked to you since the old forum . I would not be surprised especially after watching that game last night that the league has something going on . Dose this mean we are destined to see the Bucs and Pats in the Super Bowl as Brady Vs Belichick would bring in the most money LOL

actually, MM has been one of the better coaches in clock management..... so yes, sometimes we question somethings he does, but if you watch other coaches, they are pretty much the same or worse.

so is it because he got paid or is it because he is injured that he doesn't run? somehow you are tying the two together for some reason....if he wasn't paid would he run or would he still not run because he is injured? I never much cared about runnign QBs, so him not running is actually a good thing...now the injury worries me since he is not able to get push off his back leg and its leading to some floaters, inaccuracies and not enough speed on the ball...that's obvious from watching him throw

yes, pollard getting banged up on a big play no less....that sucks.....not sure if he will recover in time for post season unless he goes on IR.

yes, I hate the fact that we depend on Smith and when he is not there, the whole thing falls apart....then again smith is a top 3-5 LT even at this stage of his career

we have to finish. win. unlike some other agenda driven fans, I don't care about pretty and dominate, etc...its the NFL, and outside of a couple of bad teams each year, each game is competitive.

hopefully players are getting back, reinforcements and some getting healthy....we need to make a push

cant read the rest you said teams count on their kickers and thats just too much take seriously. The rest has to also be ridiculous..so wont read it...

if you are counting on your kicker, you already lost..also nothing wrong with our coach.

I have to totally agree. I predicted in the beginning we would have a lot of good football to watch and make the playoffs possibly win one game depending on Tyrons health .

Now I dont feel that we have had good football to watch in a long time and will be lucky to make the playoffs . If we lose this game there is a good chance we dont make it IMO

Not 100% sure why Dak is not running anymore but he used to be very good at knowing when to run and being able to do it and protect himself . I never viewed him as a running QB but he was always a big strong athletic guy who could get us a first down in an emergency and keep the chains moving . All this 3 and out till the 4th qtr heroics could very well keep us from the post season and will most definitely lead to a one and done if we get there

You haven't seen games this season where they've won because of Greg the Leg's "leg"? Or Dak throwing a TD to seal the win? Or Parsons on a drive killing sack? We have finishers....they've shown you all season.

Still a bit of time left to right the ship. Fat Mikes season is in the 3rd trimester. Next game says if it will viable or not
