Can we get a new field goal holder?

Seriously, can we replace Romo? I'm afraid Vanderjact will injure Romo's finger. Unless Bill is saving a trick play for a close game in the future, it's time to have another field goal holder.

I think it will happen one day. I wouldnt be suprised if they have worked on it.

Dont change Romo as placekicker. He will be fine.

Kicking is 10% in the snap, 30% on the hold, and 60% on the kicker. An unfamiliar holder is a big deal to a kicker.

Are you saying that Vandy would be WORSE with another holder?

My concern isn't that Vandy might kick Romo's FINGER but since everything goes wide right he could possibly kick the ball into Romo's face. lol

I'm not worried about Vandy kicking Romo's hand. I'm more worried about cheap shot artists intentionally trying to take a shot at Romo "trying" to block a kick. Worse yet if a FG does get blocked, Romo can potetially get whacked trying to tackle the the opposing player (i.e Washing game).

I don't think having Romo as FG holder so we can have a trick play is not worth the risk of him getting hurt. I don't ever want to see BledSlow in as our QB because some azzhle took a cheap shot at Romo.

Yeah get Bledsoe in there holding lol. See Vandy run up to bledsoe during a field goal attempt and give Drew a tornado spinkick to the head and then kick the FG sucessfully all in one motion.

Crayton would be the ideal holder. He has wonderful hands and wouldn't muff a snap. He played QB his senior year in college, throwing for 1800+ yards and 19 TDs so he would be fine on fake kicks. He would actually have ample time to practice with Vanderjagt, while Romo is running with the first string offense. No reason to keep Romo on the field and possibly getting injured.

The only problem is Vandy already has the mental thing going, switching holders isn't going to fix it.

My solution is to change both.

And Hos and I have been saying Crayton should be our holder for 2 years now.
