Can we put Taco at DT?

Just let him develope.

His inability to anchor worries me more if you move him to DT, btw.

None of what you say disputed anything I said.

Even if they had the same pedigree (they didn't Taco at one point was thought of as top 10 player) you would think out stupid fanbase would learn their lesson RE Lawrence and not rush to judgment on Taco. Unfortunately, stupidity always seems to impress in its inability to learn.

Drink the kool aid. Drink it all in.

Would be much better if he continues to be our war daddy. Letting our best pass rusher leave is crazy. If they are worried about him continuing to play at that level you franchise him then look at it again next season

It would be best though pay him and him be an app pro. It would be bad if we pay him like an all pro (like Dez) and have him disappear. It's an inexact science for sure.

I know he's a DE but 6'6 280, if he puts on 10-15lbs in the off season he would be pushing 300.

Irving, Taco, Collins, and Lawrence seem like a cool front 4.

Just a random thought.
How about LBer?

We need help there.

280? Really? Man he looks lean, must have some serious bone density...

Him and Zeke says...

Taco has a better pedigree coming into the league than Lawrence did.

Making deceleration of what a rookie will be 4 games into his professional career is monumentally stupid.

Wrong...........Lawrence was considered a true RE coming into the draft, Taco is considered a true LE. Please try to keep up.

I saw him in training camp and felt he looked more like DT. He is bottom heavy and is bow-legged. Couldn't imagine him having any burst as his body just isn't built that way. Problem is because he is bottom heavy he doesn't have upper body strength to hand fight with mauling OGs. Maybe just feed him and get his weight up to about 340 and just anchor on running plays.

I got David Irving, Malik Collins, paea, price, and T crawford at DT

we just need to go buy us a war daddy in the off season to man the RDE and we will be ok.
The question would be who? I haven't looked at the free agents yet

It would be bad to let a pass rushing end to leave.

People wanted Lawrence gone when he was developing and now want him gone since he became our best pass rusher. You can't do contracts based on other players or past failures. We have also paid money and the player was worth it.

By the way I'm OK with franchise tag. I'm saying you can't just let him walk that's silly

He played primarily DT in one game.

He didn't set the world on fire in that game. Or any game so far.
From the stats I saw none of the DEs drafted in front of him have done much better.

Watt has better stats than that group but he is a 3-4 OLB not a DE and I saw his two sacks and both were more luck than skill.

I heard Garrett got a sack on his first play today.

If you're first overall, you should average 1 per week.1

Based on the trade chart you could get 4 picks at #28 (Cowboys Pick) for the #1 overall and still have points to get a mid round pick.
