Can we put waters on IR return ? Or did this stupid team already waste it on Edgar Jones ( who is irrelevant ) ?

If they did I will go to valley ranch and fire JJ he is the biggest idiot in sports . How can I love the team but hate the coaches and management so much , it's depressing .

Sure, Jerry knew that Waters would get severely injured in the 8th game of the season and still decided to use the IR return designation on someone else.

With a torn triceps, Waters isn't going to be able to play again this year anyway; short term IR or not. But I still can't believe Dallas wasted the spot on Edgar Jones.

its already used on a JAG

Which was about the dumbest freakin' thing we could have done IMO. Just plaing STUPID. We've been living off Def Linemen off the streets all year long but we must be able to put THIS GUY back on the active roster?

Freakin' DUMB move.

Any player placed on the IR-designated to return can't play for 8 weeks, I think. If that is the case, Waters wouldn't even be eligible to practice or play until the 1st playoff game assuming the Cowboys win the NFC East. Anyone getting hurt from last week or so is going on IR.

Can Waters play through it? That is the big question. If he thinks he can, we have to keep him on the 53-man roster. Right now, there are only 3 CBs who can play this Sunday. I assume Pellerin will be called up meaning someone has to get cut. Who? I am guessing TE Andre Smith might get cut or a LB. I think it will probably be Cameron Lawrence who I think will pass through waivers and go back to the PS. I don't see TE Smith getting through waivers.

Costa is the backup guard, or does Costa go to center and Frederick plays guard?

The Cowboys can only use the reserve/injured designated to return exception once during the season and they chose to do so on Jones, a backup defensive end who had five tackles in the first four games of the season.
It's a process.

Don't know what else to say besides Holy Moly.

And the difference is what? Keep obe on active roster, the other on temp ir.

We were running out of time to use it where a player could sit out the requisite time and still help the team.

You guys are being silly. It's week freaking 9.
