Can we Switch to a 3-4 Defense?

I mean why not try something different, get possible better usage out of our players

We have mazi/hankins/hopefully another big body coming soon this off season to play the NT

Have Lawerence, Micah as our pass rushing OLB's (i'm not sure how much coverage you're going to want either doing maybe more so micah) law can drop back and cover the flats IF he'd be willing to even make the switch

Fehoko/Osa as our DE's add bigger DE's for the 3-4 (just an idea for right now)

Find new ILB's

Make Sam williams a LB as well, try to get him on the field, this would be his last season to show something substantial

What else can we do, please give your thoughts

It’s probably where we’re heading if they hold on to McCarthy which is almost certain. If they do decide to hire a new coach I’m guessing it will be Kellen Moore as the most likely target and there’s no telling where it can go!

I think it has more to do with building around Parsons, he's too small to play DE. Parsons is 245, ware 260 and people constantly said Ware was too small

3-4 vs 4-3 doesn't matter because teams are in nickel and dime packages on something like 90% of snaps.

Nickel is base for every team in the league. The question is 4-2 vs. 3-3.

Too sad that you're not opening your brain up enough to think that hmmmmm we're going to change a scheme MAYBE we can add some players duh, it's not really that hard, stop trying to be such a you know what and chill out!!

Stay away from moore. I think MM will be stripped of playcalling and we get a new DC, hoping one that brings in big players for the middle of the line. Solidify the trenches. Stop the run. Bring blitzes and play man. Get a solid OT and a good RB. If we had a running game for teams to worry about it would take pressure off Dak. Dak needs to spend all offseason reading defenses.

3-4 was always my defense of choice when I coached. It would free up Parsons if we lined up a 4 tech next to him, but you need a NG that can occupy two and sometimes 3 OL for it to be effective

Then get rid of Quinn. He is reminding me of Marinelli.

So we fire the current coordinator which i knew would happen (he'd be the scapegoat to go first)
