Cant be Great without the Greatness of Others

Literally everything can be explained simply by looing at the running backs.

We bring back Zeke. A guy that has proven for years that he is washed. A guy that was still on the books for dead money from the last time he was here. A guy who never took anything seriously. A guy who couldn't even be bothered to attend meetings and had to be suspended.

They bring in Saquon. A guy who fights through adversity. A guy who overcomes injury. A guy who wants to be remembered forever as one of the all time greats.

We are a circus clown show act. They are champions.

Well said. May I add, and I think your also kinda alluding to this...which is, winning in itself builds a defacto culture or standard. Like you said, the type of winning matters slot. HOW and the why matter alot too. It's the journey. I hate Philly and Siriani. He's an arsehat. But I respect him and the organization for creating a winning culture after the debacle last year. It takes a village as they say. Especially in organized pro ball. The template was shown. Are we smart enough to use it?

Probability and not facts are pretty stupid and have gotten many people fired. You can't assume a fact, we're all guessing at this point.

Eagles lost 5 of their last 6 by a total of 67 points, I'm sorry I had forgotten Tampa thumped them by 23 in a playoff game. Instead of knocking me, use that fact to have some hope for next years Cowboys.

True, but assuming answers that involve the least amount of moving parts and variables is always going to be more probable. It’s Bayesian inference.

Being stupid and failing to produce positive results is more likely than being deviously involved in a con to deceive. It’s far more likely someone is incompetent and stupid, than that they are purposely flailing and flouting about for a malicious reason. That’s the root of Hanlon’s Razor. Jerry might be intentionally conning all of us with his BS, but that’s a claim you have to prove and I don’t think you can do that. It’s a far simpler solution to believe he’s just stupid and actually wholeheartedly convinced of the nonsense coming out of his mouth, which of course would not entail any sort of moral dilemma on Jerry’s part.

Just a guy who refuses to go with the woe-is-us Cowboys fans status because it is simply not true. You might not be as good as you want to be but you have been an upper echelon team the previous 10 seasons(20 actually) and your GM has drafted more pro bowlers, all pros, and ROY than anybody. He's rebuilt your team on the fly from Tony-Dez-Witten to Dak-Zeke to Dak-Parsons-Lamb and his only losing seasons during that stretch were in years when his starting QB went down to long term injury
