Can't win with Brad Johnson

Name me a Super Bowl contender for this season who would still be a SB contender if they had to rely on their backup QB?

No kidding. Ya got some people on here thinking we need Peyton Manning as a back-up to be safe. If Romo goes down, we're done - period.

Yeah, he has been playing better these last 2 games. I wish he could throw that swing pass to the flat on the backs inside shoulder and not the outside. The RB loses to much time spinning backwards(to the outside) to make the catch and then spinning back around to locate the oncoming defenders.

Brad Johnson was quite impressive last night. He even showed some arm strength, which a lot of folks said he couldn't. He also had the best blocking he has had all preseason. Funny how that helps a QB.

I'm not his biggest brad johnson fan, but after wacthing both the patriots and colts backup QB's play Belichick and Dungy would be doing sprints at the chance to sign johnson if he were free.

Depends. For a game or 2, no. Anything over 2 games and this board might explode.

Take away every team's first quarterback. And thats where I would start ranking Brad, I am not sure there is a better back-up right now. He is a leader, a game manager, and will not do stupid things, heck he even had nice deep balls last night. Pretty good for a "noodle" arm.

He looked better than I thought possible.
