Cap expected to be between 140 -143mil

A rising cap really makes decisions to push money into future years a wise one.

Yeah, It definitely dilutes it to some degree.
I was going to add that, but then I thought it might open up a hornets nest.

Too bad most folks on this board don't get that. It's like using your credit card to spend $100 and only having to pay $95 back.

It's also hilarious to read reports on our cap situation and hearing how we are in cap hell.

Most years we can do anything we want. That includes last year when we let Ware walk without ever even approaching him about a pay cut.

It was a we are moving on move.

It was a "better to let a guy go a year to early than to keep him a year too long move"

It's always been an interest free loan at worst and a 2% cash back 0% interest loan at best

With the rollover feature there is no reason not to push it forward, if you can spend 125-150% of the cap and other teams are spending 90-100% of the cap, that should be a huge advantage.

According to Over the Cap, if they restructure Romo again, they can still release him as early as 2017 with a positive effect on the cap. I say do it.

Yep. All about how deals get structured. This is no accident

Agreed, considering a restructure was built into he deal to begin with. However, with the rising cap space ( in future years) and already sitting 24 million under the cap, unless we get a shot at a High impact DE, I'm not sure I would move off the needle at all right now.

Which just so happens to be the one thing that used to bite JJ in the rear.

The difference between now and the, though, is that JJ used to operate right up against the cap FORCING him into restructures. Now he's playing with 24 million worth of "wiggle room". That's a damn nice chunk to start out with.
