I see another fan from his couch has cuts that will make more space. The only problem is if the coaches don't agree it blows your whole cap management off. Then Stephen finally saw what happened after over two decades of renegotiating contracts that just adds dead money on the cap and keeping the Cowboys in cap hell is very very seriously doubtful he'll start that again.
As far as McCoy, he's going into his 11th season and I hope he still has something in the tank but we're going to have wait to see. He wouldn't be the first player to drop in production once they get into their 30's. Again I hope he's still good.
Now your starting caliber players, 2 of them within that 14.8 mil and you say McCoy for 6 mil, well right now McCoy has the the 34th highest salary of defensive tackles for 2020. With 2 starting tackles for the 4-3 defenses and 1 for the 3-4 defenses that means if McCoy turns out to be what he has been the Cowboys got awful lucky on that and to say or think they can repeat that twice more is wishful thinking.
