Lets see now, my flight to Detroit leaves at 6:00am, with the interview at 11:00am........if the interview is short, maybe I can get an earlier flight to Denver and get some skiing in before my interview there. Of course, I still need to book my flight to St. Louis......hmmmm, maybe I could reschedule the Rams interview between the Lions and Denver, and still have time to get some skiing in on the weekend...........decisions.......decisions........decisions. Boy, I hope Al doesn't call me in for an interview again, that guy is strange. Of course a flight to Cal. would help my frequent flier miles.......nah, not worth it. That reminds me, I still need to get a hold of Tony and see If I can get a copy of his playbook. Well, I better check and see what's going on, I think we are on offense again.

Time for our money play..." ROMO lets go with another run from the shotgun position. IF You see anything weird just kill the play and force it to T.O"

BRILLIANT!

No pun intended, but every time I've heard "KILL KILL KILL" in the last two years - It has been an audible to a run.

"Geez even when we win the game no one is happy. What am I supposed to do? I know I'll just give up putting together any real game plan and I'll wing it hoping that I can earn style points!"

I wish I was in NE so I would know what the defensive plays were going to be.

BSG? I thought it was an Armageddon reference myself.
There could be something similar, but I don't remember it.

BSG = Battlestar Galactica, it seems. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eternal_return
You're correct about the show's initials.

With the way the show has evolved over the last four years, it wouldn't surprise me one bit that the creators haven't integrated a lot of Nietzsche in the episodes. Luv that show.

You like that lame, politically correct version? Yech! :puke:

The old show was much better and it wasn't that good.

The old show was good by the standards set in the late 70's and early 80's. It was a knockoff mixture of Star Wars meets Rawhide and its relative status as a science fiction series is a reflection of just that--good, but not great and nowhere near excellent.

The new show is a much more realistic depiction of what could have happened in the lives of a few ten thousand human survivors fleeing from an overwhelming superior force devoted only in their utter destruction. Great science fiction isn't about robotic dogs named Boxie and pointless, one way, dead end dialogue. It's about stories which make you ponder the "what ifs" of humanity and imagination.

Certainly, BSG Revisioned has sputtered more than once during the last two seasons. They're also doing only a so-so job of wrapping up the series this winter to give the show's fans a sense of finality, but in terms of evaluating the two complete series side-by-side in their specific genre, there is no comparison. BSG runs laps around Lorne Greene's Bonanza to the Stars.
