In the market for a new car. Just recently started looking around my current car still in good working order after 9 years but felt it was time to start looking. Right now have my eye on the 2010 Camaro SS with the 426-hp, 6.2-liter V8.

I think they have surgery to fix this problem these days. It's discrete.

You can't afford it...just stick to a Hyundai.

It is a bit on the pricey side at around 31,000 but it has been a while since I owned a muscle car and I really like the looks of this car.

If thats the case, why are you in the market for a new car? If you don't mind me asking.

I would buy a horse and buggy before I would buy that thing. :laugh2:

Why buy new? All you're doing is contributing to deflation. Buy used and use the money you saved on something useful like a lifetime supply of twinkies.

Because like most cars as they get up in age I'm having to shell out money for repairs. In the last year I have spent 1,700 various repairs and I know more things will start to fail. When you start seeing the writing on the wall you may as well invest in something newer and I would rather do it now than wait until I'm forced to shell out more cash.

Insurance, gas, car payments...speeding tickets, new tires every year. Registration fees, state/local taxes.

You ready for all that? And, 31,000 gets you behind the lowest priced car...no additional add on, like stereo, disc player, leather seats, etc.

Gotcha. I didn't realize you were spending that much on repairs. I just assumed that it was in a good working order.

+1.
It feels good to get a new car, but I bought an '08 in '09 and got just as good a car with thousands off the regular price, with little mileage.

Ugh, dude.
Hoping it's just a crash test, but most likely someone died in that...

No, the guy walked away from that...you can see him on the right side walking. He only hurt his left hand. That is Buehler's dad...

Insurance not concerned about been with the same agent for 25 years and he has always done right by me. Gas it is what it is. Car payment I admit it has been nice not having a car note for the last 5 years but nothing fun about shelling out cash to keep an old car running. Speeding tickets have not had one of those is 10 years however I find places to speed. :laugh2:

As for the additions much of that I will do on my own as I have in the past.
