Car Speakers

I got 4 Polk Audio db570's for about $200 total - they sounded awesome 2 years ago when I got them but now they're starting to lose it

I want to spend like $250-$300 on bad*** speakers - 5x7 or 6x8 is what my car fits

any suggestions anyone?

JL subs were always the absolute best when I was into this stuff. I'd still go that route. I hear their component speakers are top notch too.

I've always liked Boston and MBQuart stuff too. Pricey, but it's an absolute eargasm compared to the mid level type of speakers (polk, infinity). I never thought they could be THAT much better, but they really are...and then some.
