It doesnt matter, we are going to kick their *** up and down the feild regardless of who is watching.

We could play in the freaking parking lot and still beat them by 3 TDs easy.

:laugh1:

Actually, with that stadiums roll-out football field, this is entirely possible.

I remember when they were still in the NFC East always joking that playing in Arizona gave us home field advantage.

Typical with the Cards. The new stadium and season ticket holders got first shot at SB tickets. SB there and gone and that shiny new toy isn't new anymore. There's too many transplants in PHX for there to be many diehard fans. I think I've seen every team in the league represented in PHX. at one time or another. JMO........................

Kind of funny. If people remember when they were going to move the Cards from the NFCE the owner did not like it because he knew he would lose out on a packed house at least once a year with the cowboys.

I think originally they tried to get something where they still played the cowboys there for a few years.

The Rams deal is even worse. To get a ticket to the St Louis game you have to buy a 4 game package which includes the powrehouse Cardinals, Bills and Ravens.
We went to stub hub and bought ours.
The Cowboys used this same system several years ago against the Steelers. We had to buy a preseason ticket to get a ticket to the Steelers game. It still didnt work, because about 15,000 Steeler fans still made it in.

Well then when they play Dallas they'll have a stadium that won't be nearly sold out. Let them cut off their nose to spite their own face.

Seems like that plan will backfire. I would bet Dallas fans who only get to see their play once a year at most would be more willing to purchase a ticket to a preseason game no one will go to.

I live in Denver and dont get to see them too often, so when they do come to down I really dont care what it costs I am going.

The thread title should read....... "Cowboys fans are welcome to buy tickets so we make more money".

This is nothing more then a money grab. They could care less how Cowboy fans are at the Stadium aside from the finacial aspects.

I've been trying to call all morning and the lines have been busy. Apparantely it's working out OK for them.

money talks the Cardinals as big of idiots they have had running their teams for years now well they will learn this idea is the dumbest they have ever had when they have trouble selling tickets and facing blackouts

The Cardinals are trying to "protect the nest."

This means they'd like University of Phoenix Stadium to continue to sell out, and to do so with as few opposing fans as possible.
In the past two seasons, there was little concern about this since the team sold out every home game.

But with ticket sales a bit slower as the third season approaches, the Cardinals are requiring fans who want to buy tickets to the Dallas game on Oct. 12 to also buy tickets for the Aug. 7 exhibition opener vs. New Orleans.
Cardinals fans have "created a decisive home-field advantage" the past two years, and the team wants to keep it that way by discouraging single-game ticket sales to Cowboys fans, team spokesman Mark Dalton said.

"Our goal is to have as many Cardinal fans in the stadium as possible," Dalton said.

In terms of overall ticket sales, "We're a little slower than we were at this point" last year, Dalton said, citing the slowing economy.

Dalton estimated about 58,000 season tickets have been sold.
Ideally, the Cardinals would like to sell about 60,000 season tickets and hold back 3,000 or so to sell for individual games.

"If we don't get to that threshold, then there will be a few more individual single-game tickets available," Dalton said.

I saw a post that said..

Ideally I'd like to win the powerball four times in a row. Let's see what happens first.

Picked up 8 tickets today. All are going to be filled with Cowboys fans. Thanks Mr. Bidwill for saving me money over having to use Stubhub!
