These guys are on the street at the end of July. They aren't getting offered much more than minimum.

He was solid, a 5-8 sack guy. Not a superstar but a solid player.

However he was hurt and didn’t do anything last year.

So it’s a question of if he is health and back to that prior form or not.

Prime Lawson is a massive upgrade over Williams at this point. But he’s far from that dude anymore

But he has had some injuries and didnt play much last season. Has experience under Zimmer and can play 3-4 OLB and 4-3 RDE. Achilles injury in 2021, played 17 games two years ago and only 5 games last season.

He fits the typical Jerry mold of guy at this point ala Rolando McClain, Greg Hardy, Laurent Robinson, Aldon Smith guys. High talent, cheap guys who could be in for another pay day or just flame out.

He's been considered a likely addition because of his relationship w/ Paul Guenther going back to their time with the Bengals. He made his NYJ money by the success he had in Cincy.

Zimmer was in Minny by the time Lawson played his first season in Cincinnati. Guenther was Marvin Lewis' DC in 2017.
