Carlos Rogers of the skins just got owned by the Bengals

All that said I thought Rogers was drafted about 10 spots too high. He should be a good player but he is not a shutdown type guy by any means.

That is the exact same thing I thought on draft day. Snyder must have paniced after Smoot split.

Before the game they interviewed him on the radio and he said he knows he's out of shape, he needs to get his wind back. Back to back deep balls spelled doom for him. He missed a sack as Palmer broke his attempt.

I hope he's a bust, obviously...But it's way to early to tell right now.

CB Carlos Rogers of the Washington Commanders was a REACH at #8 overall, no matter how you slice it.

Okay, I just saw the highlight on Rogers' INT... it was complete BS... Rogers completely got beat on the play but Palmer threw one of the worst balls I've ever seen... underthrew his receiver by about 7 yards, no Bengals anywhere in the area and Rogers was right there. He shouldn't get much credit for that one.

According to who? He may have been 30th on pre-draft boards in February, but as another poster indicated, just like Demarcus Ware, he shot up the charts. All mock drafts in the weeks leading up to thye draft had Rogers as atleast a top 15 pick.

As for the game today, I didn't see it, but as most have already said, don't get your hopes up. Like with Bledsoe here, give him more than one preseason game before we start determining the fate of his career.

I've always been a fan of Rogers and hoped the Cowboys could get him in the second round. I hated that he went to the Skins. He will make a good pro. Just wait and see.
