It's not so much that we play them every year IMO. It's that we play them every year there seems like.

Starting to kinda suck.

That's ok for me, its one of two places I can go watch the game without driving 10+ hours and getting a hotel room. I hope it keeps happening. What bothers me, is that this new schedule has us pitted against four teams I absolutely HATE losing to...late in the schedule. In case no one has noticed, we aren't exactly good finishers.

This has been explained already in threads today, and in threads over the years.

the skins have the same type of thing going on with the bucs...after this season, we will have played them 4 times in the last 3 years, and at least 3 of those games have been on the road.

I honestly can't believe this is so hard to figure out. It doesn't require much research at all.

I've got odds that say when we actually play Carolina this year, there will be an identical thread started that week.

Why no complaints about Arizona? Their last year in the NFC East was in 2000 when Dallas had to play them twice a year. Dallas has faced them in 5 of the 6 seasons since that time. Just the way the schedules work out. Green Bay and Dallas faced off several years in a row in the 90s with most of the games being played at Texas Stadium.

Dallas owns Carolina in the regular season but screws up in the playoffs against them.

5-1 during regular season play versus Caroilna and 0-2 in the playoffs versus Carolina.

The last four contests including this year will have been played in Carolina.

93, 94, 95, 96 regular season, Dallas 4-0 versus Packers.

93,94,95 playoffs Dallas 3-0 versus Packers.

97 Dallas loses in fourth quarter pile on by frustrated Packers in Lambeau.

99 Jason Garrett retires 2-0 against Brett Favre after notching a second victory against his Packers.

Brett Favre appears to be set to retire with a 1-8 record versus Dallas and Texas Stadium is the lone pro stadium he could never win at.

Because they're consistently a dangerous team, it seems. Regardless of their record they seem to always play us tough. History bears no importance on these games once the opening whistle blows. 5-1 or 1-5, Carolina fields a tough team almost every year. That's what I'm seeing.

I wouldn't have much of a problem playing them every year if we could get one of those damn games at home.

I agree, just like playing the niners during the Switzer era, you never knew who was going to show up and you kind of dreaded the matchup.

Nice stuff. Brings back good memories. That 99 game had no Troy Aikman, no Emmitt Smith and no Michael Irvin and Favre still could not win. With Green Bay at the Dallas 25 and trying to tie the game Teague returned an interception 95 yards to seal the win, 27-13.

George Teague quietly had himself a fine career in Dallas, he set some playoff records in Green Bay as well.
