Sorry, but I am a litle ol' school and set in my ways. You owe those that came before you and were elite players their due.

Between centers and linebackers on a squad that runs a 3-4 defense, it's kind of hard to preserve the sanctity of a number in the 50's.

Linebackers can wear a number in the 90's if a number in the 50's is unavailable, but almost all of those have been taken as well...
