Matt Vanderbeek (sp?). Carpenter reminds me more of the Beek rather then the Great Randy White. Although, I think Matt has way more special teams tackles one year then Carpenter.

man drawing a blank on Vanderbeek. must be the whole Vanderjagt think.

Yeah, he's white and wears the number 54.

Other than that, this comparison is ********.

Yep, that's a slap in Randy Whites' face right there.

He was a special teams monster for us in '93.

I like the kid. I think he has some upside with a lot of work. He did get that Giant out of bounds at the end of the game Sunday. There was a kicker and a lot of Green in front of that Giant.

But the boy does need a haircut.

Bradie was a 4th round pick and Parcells developed him over time. With Carp being a 1st rounder I think Parcells will ride him in the same manner and have him ready. I wouldn't be suprised to see Carpenter starting the first game next year.

Sticking to subject, I never really say Randy White, except in highlights and old school game films so i couldn't really compare him to White. But from what I've heard/seen that a pretty good compliment.

Didn't BP say when Bradie 1st got here he was too weak to lift a hankie...lol.

Randy White was the best DT I've ever seen. An absolute beast. Jerome Brown was well on his way, but fate unfortunately intervened.

Thank you for that. This tread is stupid.

Hey Demarcus Ware reminds me of Charles Haley. Both are black and wear number 94. TNew reminds me of Charlie Waters both are black (well Charlie looks black except for his white skin) and wear number 41. Hold me back, hold me back. Now I may not be in-step with 2006, we can't acknowledge a White man or a Black man --- is that insensitive. It is only FOOTBALL PLAYER number 54, 94, and 41.

That's putting it nicely.

How does a thread this ******** have so many replies?
Excellent question. I guess I have a morbid fascination with ridiculous threads.

Principal: Mr. Madison, what you just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in the room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Refresh my memory. I know I've heard that somewhere before.

In an attempt to salvage some credibility from this thread, I pose the following question: Has anybody seen a better DT than Randy White? I ask this, as I grew up with the early-80s Cowboys, so I have no knowledge of players from the 70's or earlier. I can't think of any better since Randy White.
