ok you know what that generally means, when they put a player up on the media section, etc

they are fixing to get ready to trade him

even todd archer said the other day he thought the cowboys would try to trade him

that makes it almost imperative that the cowboys resign burnett, if they do trade carpenter

and the cowboys will have to draft another linebacker now for sure,

todd archer whom covers the cowboys said he thought the dolphins would make a run at miles austin

Can you imagine the man hours they put in watching some 20 games, looking for a Barbie Carpenter highlight? And when is just a normal tackle a highlight? Oh he fell on a fumble that bounced his way...highlight!

Those were basic plays, like making a standard tackle is now a highlight???

I noticed one was from preseason as well, how freaking pathetic is it that your season highlight real contains plays from the preseason.

Good Lord, what an embarrassment Barbie is to this franchise.......

I'm going to be kind of disappointed when he's never given a chance.

He moved from position, to position. Never really played much.

I hope we keep him and try to find atleast a spot for him. Other than ... special teams, that is.

yeah home of legends, if you go to the cowboys main website,

www.dallascowboys.com and go to the media section, if you try to click on another video, only plays bobby carpenters video, before you can go to another video like trying to look at austins video

Not trying to be a jerk or anything... but I don't think NFL personnel directors need to go see a player's "showcase" on a team's website, in order to decide on a trade or not.

I'm sorry but that was hilarious... A fumble recovery he missed and happened to have the thing roll back in his arms while laying prone on the ground thinking the play was over. A tackle where the man tripped over his own feet and a stop that he never actually brought the man to the ground.

He had three more highlights than I did, and I have never played a down of competitive football in my life LOL

haha seriously. In the little bit Carpenter does play, he shows why he doesn't play more. He just kind of tries to hug the guy when he tackles. Being the kind of athlete he is, he should be driving straight through guys or at least wrapping them with some authority. Either he doesn't want to be out there or he's just as soft as some suspect. Maybe the answer lies somewhere in between, but I can't help but think the Cowboys could draft somebody in even the later rounds who'd contribute more than he does.

There's no way the guy putting this together wasn't laughing the whole time. However, to get as much facetime as Bobby does on the sports news circles, all you gotta do is have a similar highlight roll and play for the Cowboys. Great resume.

I guess it only happened to me, but the audio came back a little muddled and the video was stuck on the opening image of Carp standing there...

I laughed my butt off...:lmao2:

Him just standing there is infinitely less embarrassing than the video. I mean honestly he looks the part. :laugh2:
