That’s how many passes Carr attempted in Sunday’s game. 6 TDs in 6 possessions, throwing only 16 passes all game.
Reminds me most of last season’s blowout versus Buffalo. We lost that game 31-10 while Josh Allen threw only 15 passes all game.

This is the 21st century, modern football. You are not supposed to be able to beat the heck out of a team throwing only 15-16 passes.

Yet the Cowboys have drafted DT Ridgeway, a run stuffer, and DT Rogers, a run stuffer, and cut them both without ever using them Or even trying to develop them. Instead, we keep signing fat veterans off the street. So frustrating.
I think drafting DTs in the sixth and seventh rounds and expecting much out of them is just as bad as signing fat veterans off the street. Either way, the likelihood of significant contributions is low.

But look at Mazi Smith round 1 . And Philadelphia is crying over Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis # 1 picks at DT are invisible . I would not draft a DT round one .

Efficient day for Carr and that offense. If Carr has to throw 30 plus times a game, I don't think his body of work bodes well for the Saints.

I think it depends on the DT. Would you not draft Aaron Donald in round one? Or Chris Smith? Or Jonathan Allen? Like every position, there are hits and misses.

TE is another position I would be hesitant to take with a # 1 . I think you can find DT’s and TE’s later .

Not a lot of Aaron Donald’s Tony Gonzales floating around .

Probably going to see a similar gameplan from Baltimore.
Certainly possible but the Cowboys will be prepared and come out firing on all cylinders. I expect the defense to step up big and Dak to have a terrific game.

I'm generally with you on TEs. Not on DTs. The best 4-3 defenses have had game-changing 3-techs. You can get lucky and find one later in the draft, but you generally find the Warren Sapps, the Aaron Donalds, the Quinnen Williamses, etc., early. If we ever want this defense to be great, we've got to keep trying to find that guy.

I mean, imagine if we'd value DTs enough in 2016 to take Chris Jones instead of Jaylon Smith.

Yet many here put all the blame on the offense. They’re looking like fools.
Whoa buckaroo, the offense didn’t do any favors for the defense either , especially early when settling for FG on short fields. So both sides were extremely bad and worthless.. all that money on the offense and for what?

Ok, so Carr had a great day. 6TDs in 6 possessions. How'd our guy do?

Anyway, yes our pass defense is bad. This is hilarious after Jerry praised our safeties.

Exactly you made my point . Chris Jones types not available that often round one and the Cowboys reached in the Mazi Smith selection just to get a DT in the house . Same with Trysten Hill . Philly did this back to back with Jordan Davis & Jalen Carter and they regret it .

Given the fact that the Cowboys had to bring in Phillips & Joseph during camp I would have thought they would have held on to Justin Rogers the 7th rounder .

The Saints have a team their fans can be proud of. Reminds me a bit of the 2016 Cowboys.

our former DC didn’t want run stuffers. He wanted pass rushing DT’s…..

Doesn't take a genius to figure out the Dallas defense got manhandled all 4 quarters. The Saints ran the ball at will and tripled the Cowboys rushing yards. Pretty embarrassing display defensively.
Carr did a great job throwing, but the Dallas defense did very little to make his day challenging.
Truly impressive to score a TD on every drive.
But, this is something Dallas always does. Jags in the trenches against solid and prepared teams get exposed rather quickly. This on the first drive.

I'd add blame to the offense, but we have Division II caliber RBs and up until the end of the 1st half, one WR slip and INT put the game away. Up until that point, it was doable.

And at home?
