Obviously our defense is in some trouble here.

But what we also need is for our offense to be...offensive. Control the ball/clock. Score some matching TDs. It's not the defense's fault they didn;t do that and it really stresses an already struggling defense.

I'd add blame to the offense, but we have Division II caliber RBs and up until the end of the 1st half, one WR slip and INT put the game away. Up until that point, it was doable.

And at home?
You beat me to it.

Yes like Josh Allen in Buffalo, all of the big plays were through the air.

The run defense is a problem because the secondary can't cover consistently.

That’s how many passes Carr attempted in Sunday’s game. 6 TDs in 6 possessions, throwing only 16 passes all game.
Reminds me most of last season’s blowout versus Buffalo. We lost that game 31-10 while Josh Allen threw only 15 passes all game.

This is the 21st century, modern football. You are not supposed to be able to beat the heck out of a team throwing only 15-16 passes.

Yet the Cowboys have drafted DT Ridgeway, a run stuffer, and DT Rogers, a run stuffer, and cut them both without ever using them Or even trying to develop them. Instead, we keep signing fat veterans off the street. So frustrating.
If I said "Hey Rocky, the Cowboys are only scoring 1 TD this week" would you pick us to win?

Please, say yes.
Kamara averaged 5.6 years per rush. Carr averaged 15 yards per pass attempt. Against the Packers in the playoffs, Jones averaged 5.8 years per rush, and Love averaged 13 yards per attempt.

That's impossible to beat.

JA under 100 yards adjusted, last Thursday same thing.. pretty ironic right other teams their quarterback doesn't have to be superman 158 yards 2 INT =win!!.One dimensiatial offense and terrible defense wins a lot of games!!!!!!!!!!

I think the Cowboys wanted to put Rogers on the practice squad but he chose to sign with the Bengals instead. The same was true with Rideway. The Commanders got him before we could sign him to the practice squad.

But I agree, the Cowboys need to do a better job of developing DTs. I don't think Phillips is got to be any good. I actually think Carl Davis was better. So was Justin Rogers. Phillips looks really bad so far.

One of his 16 passes was picked off. He didn’t have to throw much with a great running game and a defense that stepped up. Put him on the Cowboys and he’ll look like the inconsistent QB he was with the Raiders.
