Carr-hands down. Claiborne, to me, was a major disappointment. Dude had FIVE penalties against the Eagles in one game..two off-sides, & two holding and one interference penalties while defending...wait for it...the vaunted RILEY COOPER. Yes, Riley Cooper. Cooper had a whopping 23 recs. for 248 yards & 3 TDs last season, so it's understandable how the 6th, I mean 6th & 50th, pick in the draft could have such a hard time covering such a talent.

Give me a break. Claiborne was SO inadequate last season, he gave up a 69.6% completion rate & a 107.8 QB rating. He had one int. total, with 55 tackles. Not exactly All-Division, let alone All-Pro. He needs to really step up this season & improve his play, & show he deserved for the team to give up so much for him.

In all fairness it makes little sense to talk about QBR against for a specific player without talking about what the totals were. For example, if he gave up that rating but only had 10 balls thrown at him all year and gave up only 95 yards receiving most would consider that a stellar season even without INTS or PDs.

The second thing is you have to consider what the CB was asked to do. How much help did he get and who was he actually matched up against.

I happen to think that Mo was a better player than Carr by the end of the season but definitely had his struggles early in the year when he got abused quite a few times. The thing that I am waiting to see is the playmaking skills on the ball. He had one sure INT last year where he showed it except for an offensive PI that wasn't called.

I think he is going to be good but I don't think he'll be a true shutdown and thus I think the trade was a poor one. When you trade up into the top 10 you have to be going after an impact player and I don't think he will become one. Because he lacks true elite mirroring skills he needs to probably average 6 INTs a year while limiting ypa to become an impact player. Only time will tell but I think he'll just end up being a very good player which isn't all that bad of a result.
