Cool thread. Here's mine.

-First vehicle was an '82 Ford Econoline Van with a custom interior that my brother had put in. Wall to wall carpet with a fold out couch and a little removable table in front of it. Even had a hidden mini bar in the wall! That thing was awesome for a 16-year-old . I wish I had held on to it. No AC (In Texas!) or power steering / brakes though so it was difficult to drive. Pretty sure it made me the good driver I am today.

-'85 Toyota Celica. Felt like a race car after the van.

-'86 Toyota Celica. Totally different and better body style than the '85 and I thought I had arrived. Had a hole in the trunk that filled up with water every time it rained. Good times.

-90 Ford Thunderbird Super Coupe. I loved this car. Black with black wheels. The supercharger gave it all kinds of get-off power on launch, and it made that Mad Max whine sound when the supercharger kicked in. A really comfortable car too but ultimately a money pit.

-92 Nissan Sentra. Basic model with no frills. I bought it with almost no miles and gave it to my girlfriend's teenage son. He promptly destroyed it. Lesson learned.

-'91 Mazda Miata. I don't want to hear any chick car comments! I upgraded everything I could besides the motor to give it horsepower and it was a lot of fun to drive. Still the best handing vehicle I ever had. Felt like it was on rails.

-'95 Ford Truck. Can't remember the model but it wasn't a good one. One of the underpowered smaller models. It was the first brand new vehicle I bought, and I sold it pretty quick.

-'97 Subaru legacy. Used car I bought once I got to hell hole snow land. Did great for a few years and then the motor blew unexpectedly. Some hate Subaru's and some love them. I probably would not buy another because of that experience. Did great in the snow after I put snow tires on it though.

-2010 Dodge Journey. Kid hauler with a bunch of seats. Served its purpose and was terribly unexciting.

-2018 Mazda 6. Serviceable car with all the bells and whistles that was kind of fun to drive. I had not had a sedan for a while.

-2021 Lexus NX300. Yes, I'm officially an old man.

Might be a couple of more that I forgot about but I did a lot of drugs in my youth.

I was super into the Minitruckin' scene in my teen years. Looking back, it was nice because my "dream vehicle" was cheap and attainable.

Well, not much to mention but I've easily had the ugliest thing you'll see in this thread. Mid-1970's Chevy Monza. That's maroon outside, and inside, and everywhere else. Pretty sure the rims were maroon, too. AM/FM radio and single dash speaker. I'll give it credit. It kept me alive when I drove the damn thing into the side of a mountain.

It is, my first car was the 70 Camaro. Being the stupid kid that i was, took it on the highway to see if it would do the 150 mph listed on the speedo. It did.

Nice list!! My dad had a 72 Chevelle. Always loved those cars and preferred the years with the round taillights.

They are, a buddy in high school had a 1969 with a 454, manual tranny, headers, holly 750 carb. It was literally one of the most powerful cars i have been in.

Best Car was the Infiniti. I put 83,000 miles on that car and never had a problem with it.

Worst car that I bought new was the Pacer. Huge mistake. The BMW had a lot of problems too, some they could not fix right. Like the Air conditioner blower would just go to high speed spontaneously.

I am currently driving the Jeep Grand Cherokee and looking for my next new car. I am thinking the Honda Passport but I honestly cannot make up my mind. After a few run ins with the Jeep service department I am fully focused on finding a car that does not need to be fixed repeatedly, and when it does need service the service department is not a disaster. The local Honda dealer appears to have his stuff together in the service department based on what other people tell me of their experiences. .

I was never one to max out, but I had my T-Bird out late on a lonely highway once and “tested it”. It was clocked to 140, but I know I went faster, because I could hear/feel it. I counted to “seven-Mississippi” before I let off, so I guesstimate 150 or so, but I was so focused you could have stuffed a lump of coal up my butt and made diamonds.

That's why I kept my pickups for so long. It was just so nice not making payments, and being able to kill the collision insurance.
