Carson Wentz outplays Sam Bradford, Chase Daniel in Eagles' second open OTA session

I hope Wentz goes on to have a great career. I don't hold it against him for playing for the Eagles. Dallas had the same opportunity to make a trade up as Philly to draft him. It is not his fault.

The basis for hoping Eagles QBs become great shouldn't be whether or not we were willing to sell the farm for the same player while already carrying a mammoth QB contract. The basis for hoping Eagles QBs become great players is simple: don't.

I hope he's mediocre for 5 years but tantalizing enough they give him a big extension. He can be ok, since the rest of that team will be talent-poor during that time given the have no high draft picks. Then I hope he gets a big extension, and implodes so spectacularly people in PHI are wishing for the return of the days of Sam Bradford and Demarco Murray. Screw the Eagles, and screw their draft hopes and dreams.

I hate the Eagles, but I can't hold it against Wentz that Dallas didn't trade up to draft him. Since free agency started years ago, I seem to be fans of certain players even if they play for teams I hate.

That should be an indictment of Bradford and other qbs on the roster. How does an experienced vet look that bad in OTAs?

I would never wish an Eagles QB to do well, at least not while he's with that team. I hope this season Wentz throws 30 interceptions, the team goes 0 and 16, and the fans start wearing bags over their heads. Then the next season they cut him, he gets picked up by another team, and that team beats the Eagles 56 to 0 en route to a Super Bowl win.
