Carson Wentz was only worth a 2nd and 3rd round pick

It will be a 1st next year most likely if you read the rumors of the deal. All he has to do is play 75% of the snap in Indy next year. Now he could get hurt but if he doesn't with no other real options at QB, it would seem likely he'd hit that 75% threshold.

Give Philly some credit for at least getting something. The Rams had to give up a 2022 or 2023 1st rounder for the Lions to take Goff.

What will you trade for my girlfriend? You give me your car and bike and I’ll take her off your hands.

Eww

Jerry Jones getting Dak in 2016 should of made him Gm of the year
It's really a
2022 1st round pick (unless Wentz does not start 3/4 of the games)
2021 3rd round pick
plus the team taking on his contract

You could argue that Wentz is worth more than that, but his contract is not. That's the real reason he was cheap.
Well that and the fact that he's bad lol.

The contract isn't really that bad for the Colts. I think they're paying less for Wentz than they were Brissett. Certainly less than the combo of Brissett and Rivers.

Going back to Reich is the best thing for Wentz’ career. If he has a chance to recover, this move gives him the best shot to do so.

Good probability of the trade being a 1st and 3rd. Not bad considering where Wentz ended up last year.

Colts messed up bigtime. All they had to do was wait and Philly would have crumbled before the March roster bonus to Wentz.
