Carter had over 120 tackles last year. But people just cant get past the Woodhead play.

No he didn't.
Garrett's first draft class, 2011, doesn't look so hot anymore.
Tyron is a really good player and got paid handsomely, but then again he was a top 10 pick.
Carter looks like he won't be getting a 2nd contract, and from the sounds of it the team is likewarm on giving Murray a 2nd contract due to injury history.
4th and 5th round picks David Arkin and Josh Thomas never amounted to anything.
Good possibility only 1 player from that class receives a 2nd contract, and at best it'll be 2.
2012 looks pretty dire as well.
Reports refer to it as 3rd down, but they generally go to Nickel when the offense is in a 3 WR set. As the SLB, Wilber would be replaced with a slot CB.
61% of the time last year I believe
They want him to be the starter over Melton but they need him at DE. He's also a team captain.
Anyone listen to Talkin' Cowboys? The nickel LBs have been Durant and Carter up until yesterday they paired Hitchens and Carter.
Listening to today's Cowboys Break.(at the very beginning) They seem to think Carter is still following the 3 tech in alignments. So it isn't a typical strong/weak depending on the TE. So it at least sounds he is still out there playing the same spot with the 1s.
