I'd think she'd sign a book deal, get her signing bonus, and then get the hell outta the US as soon as she could.

I'm no lawyer, but is she going to face a civil trial at some point? She could make some money now, but if she's facing a civil trial at some point, she'd almost assuredly lose that and it would cost her a LOT of money.

I hate to say that's a real possibility, and why the verdict was right.

It would take some pretty terrible luck on her part to have all that circumstantial evidence pile up against her and her not at least have been part of covering it up.

Having said that, considering ALL the evidence was circumstantial, it's probably best she wasn't convicted.

yeah, the little girl accidentally drowned and they made it look like murder so she could spend three years in jail and have a trial knowing she'd be found not guilty and then could get a book deal but lose the money in a civil trial. makes perfect sense
