Cavalry is coming

Never seen such nonchalant-ness from a huge loss against an undefeated division rival. It seems we’ve become so accustomed to disappointment that we no longer feel anything under important circumstances. I suppose that’s good since you are less likely to feel
impacted from such losses, however, it is still a tragedy to witness.
This was not a huge loss. This was an expected loss. No one expected Dallas to go into Philly with a back up QB and a limited Parsons to go into Phillly and beat that team. I don’t think this was a moral victory or a tragic loss.

Rush has chemistry with Brown. Great. Dak has chemistry with elite WRs Gallop and Lamb. Pretty simple to me.
Can we stop throwing the term elite around? There are two elite players on this roster: Zack Martin and Micah Parsons. Nobody in the above sentence is elite. Examples of elite WRs would be Kupp, Chase, and Jefferson.

Gallop and Lamb are not #1 WRs.

Why did he have to?
The Eagles were running all over us. And when Hurts dropped back to pass, we gave him the option of running up the middle.
You don't play a high percentage passing game when you don't have to.
He got away up the middle one time. The defense did a nice job of containment on him. It does not take a ton of skill from your QB to turn around and Hand the ball off. Barkley played QB for the Giants a couple of weeks ago and did the same thing.

?

How exactly would we gain the East back? Even if we beat them next round, if they go undefeated (besides said hypothetical scenario we beat them when we see them again), they will still remain on top. Too many things have to go right for us to claim the NFCE. It’s not likely and we blew our chances tonight. Let’s just focus on the wildcard.
You focus on 2nd place, the rest of us will focus on winning the NFC East and more.

did Hurts throw a pass that traveled more than 7 yards in the air? the league will figure out a way to stop him by mid season.

We are a run first team. We have yet to see Gallup's and Lamb's full potential.

Simple question, you think either of these two make first team All Pro? Because I am pretty sure at least two of the three I mention will if they play out the season. They are elite , what is on this roster is not.

We kick iggles butt round 2.

Don't worry fans, we just got a Pro Bowl QB and thee best QB in the NFCE back. We'll be just fine.

Definitely, and we have two fairly easy games before the bye. That should help to get into a rhythm before we play Green Bay (who got blown out by the Jets).

I mean he just does read option and then hits his first target. I think it works great in the regular season for awhile but at some point your QB has to learn how to play in the pocket.

Even Collinsworth mentioned the Eagles realize they need to run the ball in order to win tonight after the Cowboys pushed it to 3. Smoke and mirror offenses are always tricky in the regular season though I have to admit.

They were down 2 starting o-linemen…that’s what he was referring to

Hurts is a gadget QB. Not a great arm talent which is what you need to win long-term. I’m not sure how long it will last but it’s working right now. To me I see it ended the same way it did for Kapernick. They may get a super bowl run out of it like Kap did though.
I don't think they will get a Superbowl from it. Philly offense already gets figured out from first half to second half of almost every game
