Give the Eagles FO credit they saw garbage being wasted with high draft picks at WR so they went out and got Smith and Brown . And Goedert is an elite TE with a nice triple headed rushing attack . The Achilles heel in Philly like any team is having to play back up guards and tackles in the OLine . When Lane Johnson left the game the efficient Eagles passing game took on the look of a jail break.

On the Dallas side of town the defense is just fine . Some adjustments in run stop need to be looked at but I swear was Anthony Barr playing last night ? Would love to see what Jabril Cox and his sideline to sideline game could mean at helping patrol near the line of scrimmage . Let’s face it Barr is a one yr rental Jabril Cox and Damone Clark are the very near future.

It’s the offense that’s worrisome . 17 points not going to cut it against upper echelon NFL teams it’s just not . This yr 3 against TB last yr 9 against KC and SF basically stuffed our offense into a samsonite luggage and tossed it around DFW like a baggage handler . And that was with Dak in all those examples.

He got away up the middle one time. The defense did a nice job of containment on him. It does not take a ton of skill from your QB to turn around and Hand the ball off. Barkley played QB for the Giants a couple of weeks ago and did the same thing.
So?
Again, to neutralize the pass rush, the Eagles ran the ball.
Their coaches aren't as stubborn and arrogant as ours are.
We try to force throws when we should be running.
The Eagles coaches run the ball knowing that's the way to beat us.
AND ... they have a running quarterback who can aid in that attack.
Sounds like smart football to me, and a smart quarterback who knows how to execute a game plan.

Well he handled our defense quite easily. Which Stafford and Burrow couldnt.

I get your point that you think Dak is the best QB in the NFCE. But dont just diminish the others to prove your point. It gets ridiculous at some point.

Hurts has to me a lot of talent. Just watch how he uses his OL blocks for instance. Or how he reads the DE for the option play. Dont think that wasnt frustrating for Parsons yesterday.
And its one thing to draw this play down on paper as a OC. Its another thing to execute it with that kind of beauty. And not once but again and again and again. The guy has some talent.

It would be a dream come true if Prescott were able to do such thing. Especially for a guy who lives and dies by his running ability. But he lacks the ability to read the DE. At least 50% on the option he made the wrong choice (if you dont believe me look at some gametape). And his lack of pocket presence is well known.

Seriously right now id take Hurts over Prescott. He is the better player. He has more upside. And his contract situation is by far the better one.
For such a run heavy team, the iggles averaged a whipping 3 yard average! We don't turn the ball over three times.....we should have won.

That was the only game I watched of the Eagles this year and for the life of me I cant figure out why people think Hurts is good. He is Colin Kaepernick and even that is pushing it.
I had no idea he had only thrown for 4 touchdowns……sheesh….

Yes he is. Notice when the Cowboys closed the gap the Eagles took the ball out of Hurts hands. I don’t know that he threw a pass that traveled more than 10 yards in the air.
Yeah that’s scary. They would not let Hurts throw and Hurts looked spooked.

I came away from this game encouraged. Philly is not as good as the record shows. They'll lose a couple games. And they may win the East. But, with Dak back, I like my chances against them in Philly in the playoffs. Hurts is not that good of a QB. He's a RB that throws the ball. DQ will adjust to stop the run when they come to Dallas then Hurts will have to beat us with his arm. I don't think he can. Our d-line put pressure on him and remember they're supposedly the best o-line in the league. Our defense actually played ok. It will be very interesting when we get to the end of the season. They play the Giants twice and play us again. I like our chances when Dak gets back. Thanks Rush...none of us, or most of us, did not believe we'd be 4-2 with you as QB.

Hurts is Tebow with better talent around him.
And I totally agree 100%! Hurts can not make throws from the pocket, especially more than 5 yards down field he's nothing but a glorified college read option qb.

That's true but why would they? They were killing us with those short passing plays and getting good yardage off them. Even if we had defenders close (which was rare), AJ was tossing them aside and getting an extra 5.

Watched Hurts earlier this year shredding people with passes. Not saying he's "fixed" but he "can" pass the ball when needed.

Dallas clearly has the best QB in the NFCE. 99.99% of the time that means Dallas is the better team.
