I love Spoon, but this is all on Carter. Dude is an All Pro talent. Can be as good as he wants. He should really be the 3rd guy off the board, but the red flags will cause him to drop a bit.

Yeah, Todd McShay said he heard from 7 different teams that Carter had problems with some of his coaches at Georgia. Talking back, not following what they want him to do and freelancing.

The racing/wreck thing isn’t good, but I don’t think teams will be worried about that. Talking back to coaches and not doing what he was supposed to? That will effect his draft position.

I still think he goes early… but not quite as early as he would have without that.

I still believe that is why they traded Okuda but a Carter/Forbes pairing might be better then an Spoon/Kincaid pairing. I just don’t think Forbes will make it that far. I am 90% sure Spoon will be a Lion but the possibility of Carter/Forbes pairing is what dreams are made for.
