NFL fringe veterans benefit greatly from longer lockout - longer it goes, vets have huge advantage making the team over rookies:banghead:

Wouldn't be surprised if NFL players top goal now is to delay start of training camp as long as possible-players don't get paid in preseason:banghead:

Dear Fans, All NFLPA work is being done by phone. So I'm still on the job while watch tv, hang with my daughter, and running later maybe
Note, if any of you listened to patrick crayton podcast in media section, he was asked directly how they vote, and crayton said by internet email, which is faster, now players are doing all work on phone too, so again, the 2 to 3 days they wanted so they could use cards was all a bunch of horse hockey, to get us to swallow it, so they could stall and find loopholes to demand more, :banghead:

Open issues in NFL deal as of Wed: 4. payment of $320M in lost benefits/settlement of TV deal. 5 Settlement of Brady case. (cont.)
Note, again players dont want to settle till they get this, they think they deserve this in my opinion and they have no attention to settling till they do, they dont care if we as fans are missing football, they just want their money, and play less, especially no 2 adays, etc, but expect to be paid big money,

what were the owners doing ratifying a deal when there were still unresolved issues?

FuzzyLumpkins;4001079 said:

a lot of that can only be done after recertification. But of course you desperately want to blame the owners for what was clearly a Player over reaction.

NFL labor committee conference call is over. More on NFL Network momentarily.

FuzzyLumpkins;4001079 said:

Because maybe Owners thought players were trying stall it and get more concessions? But then maybe you think Players are never wrong.

On Side note, from various reports, it seems like DeMaurice didn't do a good job of communicating everything to players regularly and seems like that led to many of these "Manhood" type of feelings.

In the end both Owners and Players look like Keystone cops. Both of them clueless as to what each other is thinking or knows..

One of final NFL points an issue of trust: Owners being asked to trust Players on process of re-forming as union while unlocking doors.
Should they zoners, the owners were trusting de smith when supposedly deal was done? See players want you to trust them, but they dont want to trust the owners, has to work both ways to settle.
