CBS 7 Round mock

Claypool is going to be a challenging pick for anyone. He's not a real WR, he's definitely not a TE yet.

But his athleticism will charm somebody.

You give him to a guy like Sean Payton and he’ll make good use of him.

He may never develop into a traditional #1 or 2 receiver, but he’d be an absolute matchup terror in certain 3 or 4 receiver sets if he lines up on a nickel/dime corner running slants.

I can definitely see him being the type of receiver to tally 7-8 TDs on 35-45 receptions.

I'm not so sure I'll be able to live with it if they leave Kinlaw on the board for a safety.

I do think they will pick a corner early.

The 3rd and 4ths are nice in this case.

1 - McKinney, S, Bama (Kinlaw was on the board)
2 - Igbinoghene, CB, Auburn (Diggs was on the board)
3 - Hamilton, DT, OSU
4 - Claypool, WR, ND
5 - Keene, TE, VT
5 - Smith-Williams, DE, NCSU
7 - Vaughn, TB, Vandy

Haven't been very active studying prospects this year, yet I have looked at the first 3 picks and I would be ok with this because they are physical players at need positions.

Hamilton in the 3rd will be a great pick.
Not sure if they pass on Kinlaw though.

I can see this draft though, as it is deeper on the DL than it is in DB's. And all CD, S, DT are areas of need as well (since it is likely Byron will be gone).
At least I read that it is deeper in the DL.

Some still associate Delpit with us at S, and not sure where he is ranked to be drafted. If later rounds, maybe a DT can be the 1st round pick.
I am not sold on a WR high, depending on Amari.

You HAVE to pick Kinlaw in 1 if he's there, pending information on knees, of course.

Based on this I’d go Kinlaw at 1, Diggs in the 2nd and Davis in the third. Rest can stay.

Yeah, CBS botched those first two picks. We'd be incredibly lucky if either of those two players were there at our picks in rounds 1 & 2.

I'll do mine from what they have

1 Javon Kinlaw
2 A.J. Terrell CB
3 Evan Weaver LB
4 Antonio Gandy-Golden WR
5 Antoine Brooks Jr. S
5 James Smith-Williams Edge
7 any Kicer

I watched Diggs in one game this year and he got absolutely abused by JaMarr Chase

AJ Terrell too for that matter.

Then again, Chase was uncoverable this season with Burrow dropping dimes

Here's mine, based on the players available in this draft. I went with Hamler in the second but as a result, failed to secure any real help at CB

Chaisson
Hamler
Hamilton
Colby Parkinson
AJ Green
James Proche (comp)
I don't know any of the guys in the seventh, so I don't know

Everything you said is true. CBs cost a lot as FAs. Look at what our mediocre one just cost Miami. They should already be having buyers remorse at that price.
