Let's talk context. 22 points on 8 drives is the equivalent of 27.5 points on 10 drives. So in the context of this game, 22 points equaled almost 28 points in a normal game with 10 drives.In a singular game you sure do, especially when they all come one after the other.
Points per drive only matters over the course of a season, not in an individual game. There's too much context to get that generic with it.
Why did the offense only have 8 drives in that game instead of 10? Because the defense couldn't get off the field.
