I wonder if Julius remembers the time Roy broke his old teammate's collarbone when he made Emmitt cry?

as far as julius jones running into the backs of linemen,

i still say this and will till i am proven wrong

parcells with his hard nosed stubborn attitude, drilled into jones to hit the hole that is designated to go, no matter what, you hit that hole;

you cant do that as a running back, you have to run to daylight when you see it,

ahh bull.. I believed that and defended Julius hard before last year saying the same exact thing, but just a few games into the season I realized it was not Bill Parcells that was holding him back, it was him holding him back. Your point has been proven wrong last year.

Julius Jones last year free from being that "robot" did nothing but run into his own linemen over and over and over and over and over and over again all while you can see clear daylight on both sides of the lineman (pile) he ran into. I was so pissed I do not know how many times seeing that. A blind man could get more yards. It showed in his ypc.

You go back in my history and you will see my posts defending this guy heavy, but last year watching him I have come to the conclusion he just sucks..... and yes, he should of been benched along time earlier than the playoff game last year.

Well...I'm pulling for JJ do have a great year.

If he does, then how many people on here would be singing a different tune.

I hope he does good as well but sometimes a change of teams and change of system is what a player needs. I think the WCO may end up being a good fit for him in Seattle after all they like to run the draw as a major part of their running game.

Julius did have some good runs for us last year. Unfortunately for him, they were the results of holding calls. I think he will do well on a WC offense though.

Nothing wrong with what JJ said, confidence is important for an athlete...Unfortunately, for JJ, he's not nearly the RB he thinks he is :D

He'll end up being a pile magnet for the Seahawks as well

Seattle signed Julius for 2 reasons.....

1) The playoff game vs. them in Parcells last year

2) The 3 TD performance vs. them

I was a JJ fan and defended him somewhat (but grew tired of his excuses and whining as most did). His new situation seems similar to the old. He's shown flashes (as Judge is apparently trying to allude to) ... but hasn't been able to seperate himself from Maurice Morris in camp. Holmgren says he'll go with the hotter of the two and they'll split carries. Sounds familiar, huh?

I hope that Julius makes the Pro Bowl with the Seahawks this year. The better he does the higher draft pick that we get. I would love to get another 3rd rounder.

The same goes with Reeves, Nate Jones, and Davis. I hope they play well over their heads this year.

Again JuJo is setting up for disappointment.

Cya Thanksgiving day.

There's only one reason I'm glad Julius is gone, and it's underlined in bold.

Yet another player Parcell's tried to mold and ruined. Julius will excel.

I was a Julius fan for a while, but halfway through last year I had to believe what my eyes were telling me. Barber is clearly a better back and Julius unless he is in space is a very average back.

Isn't that just another way of saying he can run really good when absolutely no one is around him? :LOL

Cry me a river J. Jones! Work hard and you will get yours. Ask Barber, he shut his mouth and worked hard and now he has....well.....your job!

I always thought the cowboys did JJ wrong. I never understood what JJ did wrong for his carries to go down and MB3 to go up.

Sorry, I have to call BS on this statement.

The Boyz didnt do JJ wrong, it was his own inablility to produce that ended his time in Dallas. He repeatedly ran into the back of his own linemen, tripped over his own feet and went down without being hit, and he developed an attitude about splitting carries.

MB3 carrries went up because he is a freaking BEAST!!! Barber does not get tackled by "air" and he gets the tough yards, usually dragging one or two defenders with him.

So you have one RB blowing up linebackers and another RB being tackled by invisible gophers and you wonder why the carries were distributed accordingly?

Oh when his carriers got stripped from him. Of course MB3 has more TD's he used in the goal line and short yardage more. As for 20 plus yards run IDK but it was clear that Jones wasn't comfortable or didn't feel wanted/needed and dallas it could be several reason why he didn't produce like he did the year before. MB3 had more attempts that JJ also.....

The numbers do not support your postion. For 2007, according to NFL.com, the stats are as follows:

MB3---12.8 rushing attempts per game---4.8 yards per attempt.

JuJo---10.2 rushing attempts per game---3.6 yards per attempt.

So your argument that JuJo was "stripped of his carries" is total BS. MB3 had 2.6 carries per game more than JuJo, but 1.2 yards per carry better than JuJo.

This proves JuJo was benched for PERFORMANCE and that he had ample opportunity, having almost as many carries as MB3. Your argument that there was something personal going on and that JuJo was stripped of his carries and that caused him to feel unwanted which led to a drop in his performance, frankly is BS, no offense.

Yea, because its not like his worst year in Dallas came under a different regime.
