I say it every week it's all about marketing and entertainment value.

That game turned into a runaway and they couldn't get it under control no matter how much they tried to manipulate it with the refs even to the point of making our kicker try to kick another 60 yd field goal that he made so they gave up.

Guaranteed some bean counter had announced to the league how many people had turned off the television because it was a runaway so they switched to something else.

Nothing's legitimate anymore it's all about the money.
You are about 100% correct but, please man, give us this one!

Same here. Luckily I have Sunday Ticket so flipped it over there and got to see the rest of the game.
Yea, I can’t imagine not living in Cowboys home market and not having the Sunday Ticket.

How can you be a serious fan and not watch all of the games?

Me and some other fans at the were yelling to pull Micah out of the game to get him some additional rest since we have a quick turn around. He was in the game way too long given the score.
Kid is young, but you just can't push him. He doesn't unde4rstand longevity yet!

Had been watching on streameast anyway as I can't bear listening to the german commentators. So I had the full game and you guys should at least have a streameast stream running on your phone anyway. :D

Didn't know they pull games in the US when they become too boring (for the neutral viewer) lol.

You didn't miss much. The Vikings had no more lunch money to give.

In their history, CBS does this when they know there is no chance of the team coming back in the late 3rd or early 4th qtr.

Whenever I saw a game that was switched, CBS have been right in their decision. No losing team have made it a competitive game to where they switched back. They did it for the KC Arizona game this year and then switched to Raiders Chargers.

The game wasn't turned off here in DFW.....
They can't in the home markets and they realized that only Cowboys fans would enjoy that game so they moved to a closer contest. The Cowboys haters crowd was already gone and I think that's a rather large audience that they count on.

It really wasn't a good football game, one of the worst of the day unless you are a Cowboys fan.

I understand. I told Dallas to stop, they just didn't listen.

I was thinking that Fox would not have switched games like that, at least not that early in the game. I think CBS switched to highlight their AFC teams.

What gets me is CBS chooses these games as part of the NFL rules to give each network a chance to broadcast local teams. They chose to broadcast the Cowboys-Vikings but then cut away in the 3rd quarter? I am surprised the NFL allowed them to do that.
