CBS pulled our Cowboys game

In their history, CBS does this when they know there is no chance of the team coming back in the late 3rd or early 4th qtr.

Whenever I saw a game that was switched, CBS have been right in their decision. No losing team have made it a competitive game to where they switched back. They did it for the KC Arizona game this year and then switched to Raiders Chargers.
Except the "Heidi" Jets game of 68 that will live in infamy forever. They left that game to show "Heidi" and the Raiders stormed back to win the game. LOL, they had angry fans at 30 Rock with pitchforks and torches on Monday morning.

They can't in the home markets and they realized that only Cowboys fans would enjoy that game so they moved to a closer contest. The Cowboys haters crowd was already gone and I think that's a rather large audience that they count on.

It really wasn't a good football game, one of the worst of the day unless you are a Cowboys fan.
Well, heck CC....

That was BS. If cowboys were getting beat, they would not have done that IMO.
CBS don’t host many Cowboys games compared to Fox and Fox doesn’t switch. So the sample is much smaller.

When the Cowboys do get blown out on CBS, it is happening during the 4th quarter or they are the only game CBS is showing.

Forgot the Heidi game but I was actually talking about the new CBS when it was brought back in the late 90s.

Anyone else mad we didn't get to see the game in its entirety.

:thumbdown::thumbdown:
That's one of the good things about watching at a sports bar (or in my case, Hooters). When that happened, I had the manager change one of the TVs to a channel still carrying the game.

I had to go to NFL.com and watch the little dots.

Hope Micah is ok, I saw where he was injured on a play. Had to just read it.
He limped around for a minute, but came back in a series later and looked good.

Networks hate lopsided games and love close games,,,, that's why officiating crews put their thumb on the scales to keep things close in the first half,,, which is why teams need a QB that doesn't fold under pressure and can make that game winning drive for a touchdown when needed... or a defense that can stop one.

Yes they would. I've seen it many times, with Dallas and other teams. Even RedZone stops following teams in a blowout, and just shows actual scoring plays.

This is 2 weeks in a row not having the opportunity to watch a full game. Last week I had to watch the full overtime period of the Bills-Vikes before they switched. The Boys game finally came on with 3:12 left in first period. Granted I didn’t miss a score but yesterday’s b.s. leaving the game in the middle of the 3rd is NOT acceptable.
Shouldn’t we have an option?? Put the game on a “sister” channel or something?!?!
:hammer:.......to pull a game in the middle of the 3rd quarter? Not only is that BS...but in today's NFL...WHERE FURIOUS comebacks are the normal...

That has to be the earliest a game has ever been pulled in the history of the NFL..

And you damn well know...if Minnesota was stomping our ***...they would have broadcast that right down to the last bitter second.

I was just about to mention this one. But if that was 30 Rock, it wasn't CBS, right? That would be NBC?

I can't even remember the last time a game was switched because of a blowout. And to give me Pittsburgh. I already had that on my 2 other CBS channels. I was only getting the Cowboy game on the D.C. channel.

Where are you that you get three CBS feeds?

I have Sunday Ticket too, but they didn't lift the blackout for me. I was pissed because it was blacked out because it was on locally, but when they flipped the game to the Bengals they should have lifted the blackout here on Sunday Ticket.

I ended up watching a stream someone posted.
Same with me. I put on the game mix and got it there. Wasn’t happy, but I expect no less from DTV. Can’t wait to end that relationship.
