How do you look at an 8.2 rushing average or 3 tds in 3 games and not say wow in a somewhat limited role? I guess Felix is gonna have to show off his receiving skills for a td to impress everyone. I know Woodson was saying wow the other night.

Pretty ridiculous agenda you have there.....the guy has score a TD in his first three games, yet you can't admit that he was the right pick. 2 huge plays and one pretty impressive run on his first carry......lack of big plays, I think not.

I'm not the one praising him for his 8.2 a carry, that will no doubt dwindle down as the season rolls on, but the guy has the stuff, and he was the right pick.

I don't get it either. I don't necessarily think he's the best of this class, but the one thing I would think he has shown so far is the wow factor. I mean, TDs of 98 and 60 yards in two games is pretty wow.

I guess the logical answer is that Prisco doesn't think that type of big-play potential will keep up (of course, no one thinks he'll average a long TD per game lol). Still, a little odd.

Yeah. You'd think Felix would at least get "high" since Johnson got "very high." I guess we're splitting hairs though.

But, just to agitate that one guy in this thread .... given that he's on pace to score 16 TDs, think Felix makes the Pro Bowl?

He probably took a bat to his T.V. when Felix took it 62 yards to the house for a touchdown against Green Bay... screaming, "NOOO! Trip or run out of bounds. But puh-leeze do not score. It will be a nightmare for me when I return to the Cowboyzone to defend my position against Felix."

Seriously, I wanted Mendenhall when we were on the clock, and just knew when he was still on the board that Dallas was going to steal Rashard. Then came the pick... Arkansas RB, Felix Jones. I actually remember the disbelief and said a few expletitives. And then my wife's team took Rashard the very next pick. I was in shock.

But a day later I thought I just better give Felix a chance, and wait and see what transpires. Felix definitely grew on me after the draft and throughout the rest of the offseason. And here we are now, game 4 just around the corner and I couldn't be more excited to have Felix on our team. He fits the Cowboys perfectly.

Looking back, I am pleased that the Cowboys passed on Mendenhall and went with Felix.
