Sorry, should have seen that. The article indicates an expected revenue increase of $100 million per team. But only half of that goes to the players so the salary cap would only increase by about $48 million and its not going to happen in 2020. A $50 million bump in the cap is nice, if it happens, but I would not count on it. And neither should the Cowboys. It does not solve their immediate cap problems.

He was playing at about 70%. If he's healthy now its a different story.
That's the problem. Him disappearing in the second half of the season has happened two out of the last three seasons (2017 and 2019)

Begs the questions is that really a guy you want to give 3 years of elite guranteed money ?
