Never argue with or about idiots.
ObviouslyBiased
I see you forgot to mention Wilcox or Claiborne so your 40% is pure BS.
I love this addition by subtraction BS.
That's right the new young guys will be better than Carr (after all our second round pick had a total of 3 interceptions for his whole career) and any Jag we throw out at RT will be better than Free.
It's a wonder we don't win the SB every year!
lol, sorry, but the "absurdity" starts and stops with one of the most dysfunctional FO's in the NFL being #5.......BTW, just for clarification....the eagles FO being Lurie and Roseman is the same FO that hired and hyped up Chip Kelly and the numerous "dream teams" correct?Based on this past offseason.
Eagles #5. Giants #7. Cowboys #11.
Now moving beyond the silliness of the Eagles at #5, who can point out the absurdity in his Cowboys commentary?

lol . Thats very generous to our "Hall of Fame" General "Manager". LOL. ..Based on this past offseason.

Obviously
Brown started more games than Claiborne. Wilcox didn't start.
Collins isn't a Jag, soyeah, i expect improvement at RT.
We don't win the SB because we don't have playmakers on defense and our coaches are mediocre.
So what if Brown started more games than Claiborne, that was due to Claiborne getting injured (as usual) he still counts as a starter.
And who do you think started at SS when Church got injured???
Again show me film of Collins playing RT in the NFL???
Our coaches would prefer him to remain at LG but the current options at RT don't look so appealing.
We don't win SBs because the GM and his team so far have been unable to put together a team capable of doing so.
21 years and counting!
This. It's silly to believe there is any GMs who thought that Romo would not be released, whether Jerry said it or not. There was no way Dallas was keeping him as a backup. The only question for GMs is when would he be released and would they have to bid for his services? Those were the only reasons to trade for him, not anything to do with Jerry letting it be known that he was going to cut Romo.
Ultimately, Jerry holding on to him longer than expected proved to be the best move because Romo retired rather than being released and signing with another team. When Romo decided to retire that ended any reason to hold on to him to try to draw a trade.
Nobody has yet to give us props for rejuvenating the way we operate and do business nowadays.Based on this past offseason.

I listed the most common starting 5 in the secondary.
And yes, the GM hasn't built a defense capable of making plays in big games when it matters. So we let a bunch of those guys walk. Who knows if this new group will play better at big moments, but we know for sure the guys who left couldn't.
I agree with this, although I don't think Jerry wanted Romo in another uniform from the get go.
To me, either Jerry was a mastermind by getting Romo to retirement or an idiot for not getting something for him.
Up to us to pick which side is true.

The Niners ranked #2 with a new GM who has never been a GM.
LOL.....I like that angle. But here is another one as well. Jerry put the finishing touches on completely killing Romo's career by forcing him into retirement. By his horrid GM decision in Romo's career he ruined what would otherwise have been a HOF career for a good team and also ruined any shot he had to possible win a SB by forcing him into retirement and making sure he didnt go anywhere that he actually might have a good shot. A la Demarcus Ware style.
Well one thing is true, Romo won't be going into the HOF.
Bigger question to me is will Jerry put him in the Ring of Honor. Owns alot of Cowboy records, so I really don't see why he wouldn't be there but alot of people will say different.
