In my opinion, with the Owens situation, this is a choice or move that the higher ups in the organization will and should make.

This is way above the players responsibility. It isn't the players' job to "tell" the higher ups if Owens is killing the team on the inside. Some of them are under the influence of the "Dark Lord of the Sith" as it is now.

It is:

Jerry Jones
Stephen Jones
Wade Phillips
Jason Garrett
Head Scouts/Scouting Dept.

These people will have all the information they need. This isn't a tough choice to make at all. If Jerry Jones is isolated, as I suspect he is now, Owens will be icut soon.

Owens is as good as gone, imso.

I can't wait.

Nobody over-ruled jerry Jones.. Glenn was here so long, precisely because of JJ... JJ put terms in the contract, which eventually forced a decision on terry Glenn. That was JJ, not the rest of the organization. he couldn't get a job anywhere in the NFl after being released.

Glenn had an injury that he couldn't return from, which has nothing to do with the TO situation.
